Thanks for sharing very important information as always. Currently, I am in nursing school and will be graduating in less than a year. I am also working in cardiac ICU as a patient care tech. So far my nursing GPA 4.0. I am planning to go to CRNA school. My concern is there are only two CRNA schools in my state and accept only few. The tuition out of state is much higher than instate. What are the tips you provide me to join less expensive CRNA school? which state is best to move to get instate tuition discount?

Congratulations on finishing soon! The top choice would be to apply to the schools within the state you live in. If you’re interested in programs outside of your state, you can live there for a year before school starts in order to get the in state tuition. You can also reach out the the office of admissions of the programs you’re interested in to see if they have discounts or programs for out of state students! I’ve heard some programs offer in-state tuition for 6 months until they move to the state. So there’s multiple options to consider! I only applied to schools in my home state for that sole reason. Hope that helps🫶🏼

Don’t feel discouraged! Apply anyways, your GPA is lovely and I’m sure there are other things about you that set you apart.
