Hi Michelle! I registered as Sole Pro. but many people recommend LLC for liability purposes. I did not purchase additional insurances because I plan to operate in a commercial space in the future. Also, your home insurance may cover this already. I hope this helps!

I’m thinking of a simple “door to door” method in my neighborhood. (Local Awareness) Leaving flyers and cards etc. People will spread the word to their friends and family. I agree with the social media issue, some people just aren’t comfortable. This method I feel will offer you practice in clientele to build your courage to start promoting your business online or social media platforms. This was also a concern for me, inviting strangers into my home.
