Dear Lauren, as I was watchign this video I longed to reach out and give you a giant hug! It is such a shame that a wonderful person like you was treated terribly by the "machine". I hope that you can continue to push forward and do the types of videos that you love and enjoy. It is so important to work on your own personal happiness, if that means working and your current job and doing the ocassional video, then that is what you should do!

I just hope someone like Shane Dawson or Jeffree Star can help bring her back to the spotlight since she’s one of the first makeup gurus here on youtube.

I’ve been following you forever since “putting on some shaak skin 🦈” when you began your YT journey it was a lot more passion driven whereas now the passion is more towards the money. Oh. sweety, please don't apologize about your gums/teeth, you are so beautiful! There are people out there that maybe, perhaps they have been bullied themself so they bully others and or they are just inconsiderate knuckleheads. What I do is ignore that person's negativity and pray for myself to 1st have the wisdom to do and or say the right thing, 2nd for the courage to be strong and do what is right and 3rd to love that person because maybe he/she is going through something in their life and they don't know how to cope and or what to do. Unfortunately, maybe something we said and or did trigger their mind, so they act out. I don't know. 4th I pray for them. I pray God may bring them love, peace, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. What I do know is that I am just happy you are back.

Lauren, I just adore you. I hope you can feel how much you mean to those of us who have been here since the early days. I hate that you were caught up in unethical business deals. I LOVE my LL pallets. In fact, I've been searching for replacements (but if you aren't benefitting from them I'm not repurchasing). It's heartbreaking to know that there will always be people who are fine taking away from creators . I would have jumped on an opportunity to launch my own line too. I am happy to know you and Jordan are both doing well now. I think you sell yourself short when you say you don't know where Jordan's discipline comes for though. I think he gets it from you. You have always worked hard and made him your number one priority. No matter the highs or lows you always keep fighting and pushing ahead. I'm sure he sees how hard you have always worked for him. Oh my dear. I'm so sorry you've had such a hard time. Now, many times in this video you say you "bury" your feelings to carry on. I strongly recommend going to councilling. (I go to a councillor at a training college so it's affordable yet still invaluable). I know it will be painful, but it's important to face the grief to be learn to deal with it, come to peace with it to be able to move on and leave that pain behind you. Have a look at some videos about dealing with trauma if you want. Don't feel silly about any of what you spoke about. It all makes sense that it would be hard for you. Your response is completely natural for the circumstances you find yourself in. I wish you well. You're a lovely, and genuine lass, which is a large part of what made everyone love you in the first place. And will continue to make you stand out from the crowd. But don't do it for us, do it for yourself, for the fun. No pressure. And if you wanted to do the brushes, could you do it from pre-order/ crowd funded?

Nowadays I can't watch videos on RU-vid without skipping parts of it. However I absolutely enjoy watching Lauren's video from the very beginning to the end without skipping a second.

The thing is, I always enjoyed the makeup, but I enjoyed you as a person so much more and I’m just so happy to see you happier and doing well. You could come on and talk about anything you want to and I’d watch, because it feels like a chat with a friend. You are honest and real and I’ll take that over makeup community drama any day. The first video I watch from RU-vid was you and I told all my friends at school that I learned makeup from you. I lost my account but got a new one and did not hesitate to subscribe again. Lauren! I’m still here too! I don’t watch makeup videos any longer, and I hardly wear makeup anymore. But any time I see you upload, I watch it! And I love the feelings of nostalgia. I’m so glad you’re still here for us.

I'm so glad to see you back. You don't have to explain at all why you were away. Also, that is crazy your gums changed after smoking. The same thing happened to my mum, had been a smoker for years and stopped then her gums changed and teeth moved apart. She had a gap in the exact same place yours is and she got the dentist to just fill up the area with composite (nhs dentist). It's very cheaply done, stops you from having to get a brace too. You would never notice it now on my mums teeth and it gave her her confidence back. Xxxx

I've got to say, I felt at the time that you were kind of the sacrificial lamb, the industry wasn't really ready to let RU-vidrs/influencers encroach on their space. I just wanted to say that you're one of the first beauty RU-vidrs that I ever watched, I adore your personality and I did wonder what happened to you. I never knew about the make-up deal/brushes let alone knowing that anything went wrong with that (I just registered that you dropped off the radar), but I think you should still be proud of yourself. I get why it is frustrating/disheartening/maybe even a little embarrassing, but I do hope you're proud of your accomplishments as well. Progress is not always a linear process. You lost your house, but you had one! Not everyone even makes it to that point in their life...so that's a big deal in and of itself (I hope that does not come across as patronizing or making light of your situation because I don't mean it to be). You were only in the position to lose these things because you worked hard enough and were successful enough to make it there in the first place. That also means you can do all those things again, with new knowledge about the pitfalls involved and the types of people/companies you should avoid in the future. All of this is easier said than done but hopefully, if you have gotten through the worst of the storm, you can see some of this with kinder eyes turned towards yourself. Anyway, I just think you're a lovely person and I'm here and rooting for you to succeed in your own, unproblematic way! Take care! =)

You keep doing what you love for you Lauren. Since 2009 you was the first "teacher"who taught me how to blend, apply shadow, etc I sucked at it. I didn't even use the right shade of foundation but like you I loved make up since I was little and loved playing dress up just to have fun, let my imagination run wild, and have fun. In the words of Aaliyah there's nothing better than loving hat you do even if it's small and you don't have anyone watching your doing it for fun because it's what you love and it makes you happy that's all that matters just be you and keep being you Lauren *hugs*

It makes me so upset to know someone took advantage of you. There are VERY few, genuine RU-vidrs (with a major following) that aren’t soulless anymore. Particularly in the beauty community. You were and still are the only beauty guru I ever bought makeup from. I won’t even buy from celebrity lines. But, if you ever start any kind of makeup line or brush line again, I will 100% buy it.
