Random question, do you think you could do a whole week of what you packed your kids/husband for lunch for school/work? I'd really be interested how you make lunches from the foods you get in your weekly hauls. :)
Hey Meghan my boys are so boring they literally have the same thing everyday a salami sandwich cheese stick pepperoni pack of crisps an a peice of fruit I've tried making them cold pasta salads before now nope not interested Danny takes in carrot sticks eggs and nuts he's weird what can I say lol :)
While it’s now March in 2021 and I’m watching this video as a new subscriber, I am happy to get to know you better in this video. I certainly chuckled at your nickname Granny, there’s evidence that your mum was spot on in this video alone. “I like crisps... Mmmm” was funny to me and I just adore your accent. So, greetings from sunny LA/OC California. My name is Denise and I’ll be catching up on your vlogs.
Great video. I also wanted to be a mom when I was little and my nickname was 'old lady' for the same reason yours was granny. Love our commonalities. Cannot wait for the other vids.
I can totally relate with the pregnancy! I was miserable for the first half of my pregnancy. The 'morning' (more like all day..) sickness lasted for 20 weeks and I lost a good 10kg during that time. The second half was alright but it ended in an unplanned c-section at 40weeks5days with my little girl not breezing. She needed to be intubated and spent the first week of her life separated from me in the NICU. So yeah after all that we decided one is enough... :D
Hey yea we all wish for the wonderful pregnancy an birth story but it's not always the case it can be so difficult an leave you with painful memories that then we just feel let down by our experiences it's such a shame to have the pressure of feeling it needing to be perfect an idealistic :)
hey Daniella I've been asked that before I'm slightly worried it might come across as showing off you know but ill definitely think about it thank you for your suggestion :) xx
Hi Helen, this was so lovely, I feel I know you so much more now. We are very similar, I started hair dressing, however changed careers (long story). Not an academic that's for sure, more a hands-on. Both my girls are the same, left handed and more creative like me. Don't watch much TV more youtube and I love pottering in my home, doing cleaning and cooking. And my first career choice as a child was to be a Mummy. xx PS Lauren made Anzac Biscuits for our special Anzac Day and they were so delicious. xxxx
Yes, it's the one we use every year actually. So simple just 1 cup rolled oats, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup des. coconut 1 cup p/flour 125gr melted butter 2 tble spns golden syrup 1/2 tspn bicarb 2 cup boiling water. I just melt butter and syrup in the saucepan and mix all other ingr together then poor over the butter mixture and roll into biscuit ball on greased tray. bake for 15 mins. Delicious!!! Your husband has a very important job too. That would have to be one of the hardest in my opinion, that and nursing I think xx
thanks for answering my question about your hair, I've ordered some Toni and guy shampoo to try ha ha ! By the way I'd like to say thankyou for showing your recipes, especially the meatballs and sausages ! I never thought of doing them in the gravy in the slow cooker, it's so tasty!!!x
Hey Gina let me know how you get on with shampoo an conditioner let me know your hair type an I can give you better recommendations thanks cooking meat in gravy in the slow cooker even makes the gravy super taste :) xx
