I'm going thru an extremely difficult time in life. I'm 42 years old, going thru a divorce, lost my car, my job, and not sure where to turn. I randomly watched some drumming videos, and ran across your channel. Hearing about your anxiety helped me a lot. Seeing your dedication to drumming over the oldest to newest videos, showed me consistency is everything. Much like a solid drum beat right? Anyway thank you for having the courage to show your talent and heart. I do have hope!

I'm a self taught drummer as well and knowing that you are also self taught and awesome gives me so much more motivation. As for your haters Meh that just means you're doing something right so just let them hate.

You give good advice., especially about anxiety, which I suffer with. Yes, the dreaded 3 hr plane trips You have to fool yourself into thinking you are on your couch. Try the 11 hour trip Back from Europe! EEKS you have to occupy your mind for a long time. As far as HATERS I don't even like to use that word,. I really never thought that was an appropriate phrase for those people. Id prefer call them the Jealous dweebs, with no life. but I guess that's too long of a phrase! LET ME KNOW the next time you are in Connecticut for a gig

In my experience, the 'hate' comments means your are doing something right. I have yet to come across a successful musician put out such negative vibes. The ones I have come across and know all encourage people to get out there and play, practice, and have fun. Most of the haters either don't play themselves, too lazy to put in the practice time, or can't stand someone more successful. I have experienced constructive criticism and friendly banter that could be taken the wrong way, but sounds like you're not getting that. But Kristina and several of my good friends have encouraged me to pick up the sticks again.

I'm all about the throwbacks! I'm 30 so that's more my style. Honestly, I don't think I've gravitated to any bands that have come out after about 2009 or so. Do you have any interest in doing covers of anything by Alkaline Trio, Coheed and Cambria, Saosin, or Atreyu(to name a few)?

Hi Kristina: I've watched all your Q&As and your advice on expanding your youtube channel. I like it, but love the advice given by Lindsey Stirling (10M subs) and Kurt Hugo Schneider (9.6M). Their advice is to collaborate with other youtubers so you pick up their fans and they pick up yours. Seems like a win-win. Sina-Drums (0.25M) 18yo drummer from Germany has started doing that and it seems to be working. In other words, I'd really like to see you collab with other youtubers. Have you worked with RU-vid Space in NYC?

Hey Kristina, great Q&A! I've never done one of these, I probably should but I only have like 50 subscribers and that's fine by me. Having thousands of subs would be too much pressure. Plus I have nothing to talk about, except maybe how I record my electronic drums because that's way different than acoustic drums and a lot of people are using E-Drums. I just make a video once a month, have fun and that's about it! So, have fun and play on because you are a killer drummer, trust me on this!

Hey I love the channel, I was turned on to the channel by my friends in Eva Under Fire. Your drum cover for them was great, me and my bassist moved to NYC a while back and would love to jam, or at least send you some tracks. Keep on crushing heads!
