Yes, yes, yes! Do not compromise on quality. I finally scored an LV MP several months ago and it came with multiple popped stitches so I returned it and a random SA couldn’t believe I wasn’t keeping it. She told me, “oh these aren’t that bad”! I couldn’t believe it! Sorry, but I’ll take my hard earned money back and try my luck again on the website!

I can't remember every word to say but girl do I try my darnedest to hold on to them. I Love your Honesty. I to recall never willing to spend money on things such as a luxury bag...and was told I should learn to be kind to myself, so I did. You shared truth when it comes to finances... There's no bag I have that would cause me to go in debt for. But I LOVE saving for something special. I'm not at purse piece at the moment tho. I have a few name brand bags I need to part with. Loving these Q and A videos!!!❤️ Edit : we are so much alike, I also would NEVER buy the neverfull, nothing agains't that bag I just never liked that bag for myself. I also sold a few of my handbags that I wasn't using and just taking up space in my closet. I am really happy with my small collection and use every bag I have in my closet. You are so right and good advice for many, don't buy luxury on credit, don't go into $ troubles for a bag. I am all for financial freedom, so important. I saw on instagram you also follow that lovely couple that moved to Portugal. Aren't they awesome? So inspiring!!! I was born in Lisbon but live in Canada for over 30 years. anyway I will stop talking... LMAO and yes I was still with you, watched the entire video as always.

Such a good point about purse peace, I agree with you! I was also very strict with myself in terms of money management and saving in the past...and when I took my first trip to Paris last year, I gave myself permission to enjoy and indulge on my first luxury handbag. I told myself it would be my one and only, and I would keep it forever...but boy was I wrong about it being my one and only lol...little did I know that would send me into a luxury spiral lol! And wow, you chose the pochette metis, but I liked that you chose it for function. Loved all the eye candy, and your thoughts as usual :).
Tee, I agree! I started with one and then it spiraled into insanity! And Pochette Métis for the win! I think that would be mine as well. I have also been carrying the LV Beaumarchais a lot - same deal... medium with compartments! I love my Chanel’s but just not as practical.

I love my pochette metis, too! Same model as you. The versatility is fantastic. It feels so lux to me but also very casual. I am a flap bag girl as well. Sometimes it feels very flashy to me, that’s the only thing. I have considered the black empriente also, but can’t justify the price at this time in my life. I have never been a bucket bag person and now all the sudden I am craving one, it’s so weird. That’s next on my list. I never thought I would own a speedy either but I was RU-vid brainwashed and now understand lol. I have the 25B in DE and it’s perfect for me, very hard wearing. Glad you added that little cutie to your collection.
Great QA! I think it’s definitely a consumer’s right to inspect the item and make sure it’s in the condition you want. I don’t find that picky especially since I’m spending so much money for the item. ♥️♥️

Sarah Deza I have the pochette metis in the black empreinte leather (they had both the monogram canvas and the empreinte at the store when I bought it) and I love the empreinte! It is amazing. No glazing issues, that leather is so durable. Ive had it for almost 3 years and it still looks brand new. Just make sure that the monogram is lined up in the front because I’ve seen a few that are not aligned. I’m Sure you will love either one. Have you seen the new griege color (I think it’s call dove grey)? It’s also really lovely! Good luck with your decision.

I just got my nails done and yes, I chose Essie’s ‘Berry Naughty’. I enjoyed this Q&A series and continue to be a fan! I feel the same about the Neverfull... I do like it on others.
It's so nice to hear someone else have purse peace! I feel I also am at purse peace as I'm so happy with my small collection. But of course it something special comes along I may buy it, staying humble and having the right variety and range helps too.
If you regret not buying a Chanel mini in caviar, then I highly recommend checking out Saint Laurent’s mini Lou camera bag! It has many similar features including the leather (SL’s grained leather looks similar to caviar), the fact that it’s leather-lined, and it has a much more generous back pocket than the mini flaps. Plus, it’s at a fraction of the cost too. Some youtubers did a comparison and showed that it pretty much has the same capacity as the rectangular mini flap.

I dont have much luck with Made in France products, but I am always pleased with LV items from Spain and Chanel items from Italy. Somehow I have greater luck from these countries 😄

I laughed at your comments about your husbands comments on your bags. My husband said that my Chanel reissue with aged calfskin looks like a bag from TJ Maxx. The horror! The reissue is my all time favorite bag, and the one I would have if I could only have one. Love it more than my Chanel jumbo. But what does he know?! LOL! My hubby the same way. He loves muted colors and camo. Lol. But he does clean up well in his bespoke tux and cowboy boots. He maintains that the uglier he thinks something is, the more I will like it. 😂

Aww thank you! My jumbo is fairly new to me. I bought it preloved and I was happy to find it in such pristine condition. I use a bag organizer / bag shaper to keep the structure and I never overstuff it! 😉
No way! The canvas is all weather proof and if you spray the vachetta leather with Apple Garde, it will protect it from water stains. I spray all my vachetta as soon as possible! 😉
By the way I also hope that Chanel brings back caviar minis. Although I love lambskin the most and that is what my jumbo is, I would want to have something more durable for a mini so I can carry it with less worry. Black chevron caviar with SHW would be the one I want. I am considering the toy loulou as a good alternative until (hopefully) Chanel decides to bring it back one day. One can dream. hello catwalk city I would just want to carry it a lot, hence the caviar durability. I like lambskin a lot more in terms of the look of it. I dont carry my jumbo all that much because it is a bit large. The reissue medium is a better size for me generally.
When you say 10 pairs, do you mean you have to replace the Cole Haans every year? I’m the same with the caviar minis! I dont want to pay like $1k over retail for them I did get the Medium Vanity Case (caviar) recently 👀 it’s a little heavier for what I’m used to, but I do like how it looks and that it’s bigger than the minis
Actually yes... bc I wear my Cole Haans almost every single day and I walk A LOT! So I replace them whenever the soles wear down and I always have an extra pair as backup in my closet!!! Thanks!
