Would definitely love a part two! My partner is also a filmmaker and I am a budding FA! I'm worried that the training/ground school period will put a strain on our relationship. Do you have any advice for getting through that period? xo

Thanks Maciej! Yes we are both Australian :) although I grew up in Melbourne and Braden grew up in Brisbane! So that might be why our accents differ a bit!

Thanks for the video. In fairness though, it sounds like you are not actually a regular flight attendant being away 2 night a month working as videographer for your airline. So, that is actually not representative of people in relationships with actual flight attendants. Just pointing this out.

It can definitely be a challenge but I’m sure you can make it work for you! People commute on reserve but I can just imagine it being difficult & something I personally would not want to do! Good luck for your first year ❤️

Oh man, I appreciate this a lot. My partner was away most of December, understandably, and will now be away for most of February. I struggle a lot with him being away so often and sometimes wonder if it would be appropriate to request that he be around more. It takes a lot of emotional strength and understanding with this profession
I can totally appreciate that and can see how hard that must be for you! You could defiantly bring up your concern and feelings with him and see what happens. something that i find helps is dedicating quality time when together! It's great that you are so supportive though!

I love watching both of you in the video. I let you know that both of you are a very cute couple. I’m glad that both of you stay married for 3 years. My parents will be having their 59th anniversary coming up next month. My sister and my brother in law had their 27th anniversary few months ago. I’m single and no kids but I’m a happy person. Well I’m not married…yet…but I moved to WA for a year to become a FA with virgin and I passed ground school and I’ve started flying now…but being away from my partner has been the hardest thing ever. I’ve been here without him more than 2 months now, but it’s not putting strain on our relationship, instead it’s actually bringing us closer together and we have learned how to work through hard times and appreciate each other more. We’ve got lots of plans for when I move back to Adelaide in 2023 and we can’t wait! 💕
