I would like to apriciate for publicising this fantastic, faboolous and amazing video about why you left your life in the UK 🇬🇧, your opinion on Online teaching and I anderstend why you are burnout. Although I have never thought I had to learn online for a long time just because the government announced the sage of Covid 19. Those times the Internet was the only connection with my teachers and classmates. I remember that my classmates and I used to have problems with the Internet connection and if that wasn't enough I had to repair my tuchped all the time because that used to sutuck. Whenever I had a boring class I turned off my camera and my microphone that followed I went to the garden, peted my rabbit or took out the rabish. In almost all of my free time during the online school period I used to jump in our trampoline and I also used to improve knowledge of my English language skills. My further opinions about your video that was awesome and interesting enough. I wish Happy birthday for you and good luck for teaching and learning languages. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Yours faithfully

A little tip for everyone who feel ’old’ in their 30s- I’m 37 now and when I look back at my 30s, I realize how youngggg I was at that time,so always keep in mind ,people, you’re going to be much much older someday up off your age where you’re now, try to imagine it retrospectively from future you,and you’ll just stop worry about it..so when you’re 50-you’ll understand how young you were at your 40s,when you’re 70 for example you’ll probably be thinking that it wasn’t so bad being 50-years old actually,and so on..

This procrastination podcast format felt so uniquely true to me. I was taken aback by the spontaneous tone at first (in a neutral way), and then enjoyed more and more as I listened, and two hours passed by. A goldmine of real-life British English, and the art of teaching since age 16, I guess.

Completely agree with you about monolingual teachers! I learned English as a second language in school and Japanese later on in life, and now I am teaching English to Japanese students, providing them with explanations in their native language which I find is almost always required, especially for beginners and intermediate students. They tell me they benefit a lot from my lessons and say those are easy to understand, whereas some native speaker teachers they have encountered have only made them feel inadequate. I'm not saying everyone should be teaching bilingually, this is just the format I have chosen for myself, but the experience of having learned another language is definitely a must, in my opinion. P S. My native language is Russian, which is so complex that I would have probably never learned it had it been a foreign language to me haha. With the universal demand for English, I have decided to specialize in it instead

A more accurate expression for "pareja de hecho" es "compromiso"... So, you can say "No soy casada pero tengo mi compromiso"... That means that you are living with your partner in a serious and long term relationship...

Nobody really says that though. People here just say pareja de hecho and refer to their partner as mi pareja or mi novio/novia.

I am 29, next year i also will step in on 30. Its really getting intimidate to me to turn into 30. I don't feel i am older but life shows me everyday, every moment, where i am belonging. Even though you said you speak in the podcast naturally, like you speak with your friends, without “teanglish”, I think you speak very clear. When I came to the UK I was so shocked by that I couldn’t understand my flatmates, cause they were speaking so fast and so unclear. I’ve been living in the UK for almost a year by now and I still can’t understand everything that some people say.
