I like 'em all but Joao Rocha did so much w/ so liitle. Sweeney Ted is the man as far as ambience and meticulousness of the cut. And Mr. Lee makes me fall asleep everytime.
An Aussie! Here I thought you were English for sure. How cool! You really have seen the world my friend! This was the best video yet. I’m so glad you’re finally feeling more comfortable revealing bits and pieces of your life. Many thanks mate..😉 I think my favorite video is still the one in the grand bazaar. I have a deep interest in Istanbul. I’ve even made a friend with a Turkish woman who has a RU-vid channel who is an excellent chef! Please do more of these kinds of videos, you are like a walking encyclopedia of traveling. Sending you much love and respect my good man.🙏💙
I just love how you are doing what interests you-it must have taken a lot of sacrifice. Your videos are an invaluable historical record-thank you for making them.
I've loved your last two videos Harry! It feels even more personal than hanging with you while you get a haircut. Thanks for giving us a behind the scenes look into what you do! Love it
We have been with you since Istanbuls Grand Bazaar..and I look forward to traveling with you..it's a beautiful world Harry and thank you for the trip..
You sound like your from Australia Harry. At this time Mr. Lee at Seongu barbershop is my all time fave. Love how he checked his own hair out before starting 😅
Crazy hearing that Harry has been living in my area for over 10 years! Seattle is such a beautiful city, though so far from Europe and Africa. Must make the actual travel much more exhausting. Though, when I personally travel from Seattle to Eastern Europe, it is so rewarding and exciting when I do make it because the trip is so long and the hype builds up the entire time.
Love watching your videos mate, great to hear your insight into them👌🏻. Mr Lee is my favourite, love is idiosyncrasies 😃. Keep up the good work. Dan in Wales
Don't know how I missed this video. Harry is who introduced me to the straight razor shave. I remember seeing men get shaves at the barbershop as a little kid. It's been important for my son to have the barbershop experience.
Your FAQ's are the best, it's short and efficient :D Thank you Harry for giving us a look at the world. It's hard to travel with Covid-19 now. I always wanted to travel a lot but the last years I never had the cance cuz i'm single and i I can't imagine travelling alone. It's so much better to be with the person you love, it gives a whole new dimension (to me). And I haven't found this person yet. But I hope having that chance soon !
Harry, these last videos are fantastic. To me you were this mystery guy, travelling around the world. Now you are a great guy and if you ever come to The Netherlands, come to Groningen (in the north) and I'll introduce you to a guy who cut my hair since I was an infant and a good friend.
A nice touch that while you were saying "not about getting the very best haircut in the world" you showed João Rocha's shop, where you got one of the best haircuts - if not the best as it definitely was a fan favorite.
Great stuff Harry! Why you’re actually sounding a little Aussie there at the end! I never noticed that before. Am I right? (The digeriedoo may have been a big hint haha)
Been watching for years harry, before you were haircut harry. My favourite video has changed over the years as new ones come up, at the moment it's the Korean barber. Great to listen and get imersed in the feeling of the shop. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for being with us since the very beginning - we love that 🙏🏼❤️ It's been quite a journey for sure! We never knew how this YT channel would grow and ultimately turn out. We still think back to the days where our original Indian barbershop experience was the only video on our channel for years!
@@HairCutHarry I went to jack the clippers barber shop in London thanks to you. Best cut I've had. I also went to the one in Reykjavik but he was closed on the day I was there :(
That is so awesome to hear about your visit to Jack The Clipper! It's too bad you missed JJ in Reykjavik; he is such a character full of funny stories and his shop is beautiful :)
I stumbled upon one of your videos about 7 years ago. It has been a pleasure to watch and learn about your travels and the many different interesting services provided at the different locations you have visited. I'm looking forward to the next video with a unique service. One with excellent audio just like the oldest barbershop in South Korea. Sometimes the stories that come with the services are also excellent just like the angel of Route 66. I hope you and your woman are well and I look forward to your next video good luck and stay safe.
Wow I can’t believe how long I’ve been watching you for I sub you in the early days when you got a couple of hundred hits feel like I’ve been part of you growing love it keep up the good work still think your English though haha 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
@HairCut Harry In other words Harry, you are like Odysseus / Ulysses in the Odyssey, but in the world of barber shops😂. However, 2 Barbieri remained impressed on me. 1-Angel of Route 66 very precise and great person, 2-Cliff of Las Vegas very technical old school, so much so that I also follow his channel. Keep it up Harry 💈🤟🏻Rock & Roll🤟🏻💈
This video was great. Thanks for us in on what happens before, during and after your haircut videos. I like to travel and hopefully will do some traveling soon. Keep on getting those great haircuts and shaves.
Awesome vid Harry, I've been following your channel for some time and love the content, it can be cool to learn the history of these barbers and can be very relaxing. Have you ever thought about travelling to any places in Scotland for a haircut? Or just in general?
Hi David - it's been many years since I was last in Scotland! I want to travel there again and definitely do some filming 👍🏼 Thanks so much for watching and joining us on this journey 🙏🏼 We hope you are taking care and staying well during these times!
You said it's not about the quality of the haircut, which I totally understand. Anytime the barber asks how you want it cut your response is always the same. "You can do whatever you want." Are you ever, disappointed isn't the right word, but are you ever disappointed when the barber takes a conservative route?
If I were a gambling man then I would put money on him being English, somewhere south east but with a little twang after living in the USA for so long. I think the Australian thing in the video is tongue in cheek because some people think he's Australian. I don't hear it at all.
Harry, that horn at the end of your video sounds very much like the Australian aboriginal didgeridoo. Might that be a hint as to the origins of your accent? I just recently discovered your channel and find myself binge watching. I vicariously get a haircut with each video. Thanks from Louisiana.
Harry, thank you so much for all the enjoyable videos, I've been watching them for a long time now. My fav barber is Baba Sen because he was a complete nut case with his masochistic head massage...which leads me to my question...has any barber ever hurt you--flame used for ear hair, cutting you during hot towel shaves, hair removal by waxing, overzealous massages, etc.?
I wish I could travel too. My dad could probably fund it but I'm going to get my degree first and save up some money (I worked part time during my first year of uni but I've spent half of it already ahahah)
I see you used a shot from Sedona AZ when talking about hiking. You also uploaded a new video from Matt’s barber parlor in Phoenix AZ. Do you spend a lot of time in Arizona? One of my favorite ice cream place called Churn is off of central and Oregon. Just north of camelback road.
I could guess which haircuts you didn't like (Morocco?) but I assume it's the journey and not the destination with you. One thing, though: wear your merchandise! You know those airlines tickets aren't free.
