I'm not a twin, but I have twin sons who just turned 4, and I LOATHE when people compare them or even go as far as to ask, "which one is your favorite?" They don't understand how ignorant it sounds, but I die a little inside every time. They're very different but they're twins and like you said people forget that you all are two different people. Just go out with some friends to get your mind off of it. Once you start focusing on yourself and your own happiness you won't feel the need to be with someone. You just have to be confident and realize you don't NEED a man. It's definatelly ok to want one but don't feel bad about being alone. Use this time to find out who you are and what you don't want in your next relationship😘

Am an identical twin and we get the whole comparing thing, oh she's chubbier, this one's nose is bigger & it does make you feel like your being judged by complete strangers. We're 27 and at this age it has gotten real old. But I so smiled at the permanent best friend, she is truly my life, my world and I couldn't see my self without her.

I'm 31 and my husband & I have been together for 2.5 yrs (married for almost 1). You two have the right mindset about dating. I enjoyed dating during my 20s after breaking up with an ex after 5 yrs. My husband had lives before each other & don't believe we missed anything! And because of that our relationship is amazing. Just keep doing you & you have the right idea about introducing a boyfriend to people.
When you both talked about being single and being comfortable. That's speaks to so many people putting their relationships out to early. I felt the same as you do about getting to know yourself and liking yourself before you get into a relationship. Chisley Knows Best is hilarious. Todd cracks me up big time.
