Thanks for sharing this great video, more like a working railroad ,the expansion sound like it will be fun to do looking to see what you do. at 10.03 is like my train does
Nice video, the expansion will be fun to watch with more switching opportunities, the runaway was just an experienced switch crew kicking cars to get the job done quicker!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
Great video as always. Just want to give you an update I received my Quebec & New England boxcar today. Love the colors, very nice car. I did notice on the box that says 1 of only 50 do you know of any more for sale or did I get the very last one?!!
Thanks Mike. There were 50 of each road number produced, and four different road numbers. According to the Home Shops website they are still available. You can order direct. homeshops.net/pages/freight-car-available
excellent stuff, as usual, q&ne !!! question... at 8:29/34:38 we see a gray building in the background of the geep/1500 consist while they are doing their work. what type of material is the gray brick made of and where did you get it ? looks really nice and i need something like it for a wall-mounted, kitbashed background building... thanks for everything !!
If you are referring to the Printer where the CP and ON boxcars were pulled and respotted, that's Walthers brick sheets laminated onto foam core board. These sheets come in two shades of red but you have to fill in the mortar lines yourself. The mortar lines give them that greyish hue.
@@QNERailroad thanks, qnerr...btw, is that a british "bobby box" next to the large coca cola sign ? living in western ny state i have been to canada many times ( leafs/argonauts/canadian ballet) but have never seen one live !!! nice touch !!! 2nd btw... just picked up 3 cp sd 30 ecos from ovr and they are just beautiful and really add a lot to my pike !!! blessings to you, qnerr, please keep the great updates coming !!!
The "bobby box" is not a Canadian thing. It is a tongue in cheek reference to a British television series called Dr. Who that has been running for 60 years.
@@QNERailroad right !!! even though i live in western ny state ( 35 miles south of bufflo,ny) i grew up watching canadian tv...hockey night in ca/scuttlebutt lodge( fishing show)/wrestling with whipper billy watson/this hour has 22 minutes(now)/monty python's weekly show/etc/etc) the fifth estate(now) and tons of good stuff !! are you in ontario ? your pike is really nice and it helps those of us that are retired now and have been in the hobby for 60+ years !!! blessings to you, qnerr !!! ps... dr who was top-notch stuff, too!!!
Thank you for noticing. 😅 It's a sore point for me because almost all of my locomotives were purchased undecorated and Athearn Genesis in particular do not include any horns with their undecs. Other manufacturers give you one or two to choose from. Anyway, I have purchased them; just haven't got around to installing them.
