Hmmm that’s interesting what you are saying there. It’s timeless in way that it is still incredible good till this day. But it also isn’t because this is really feel good music easing you down. This is simply not made anymore, very unfortunately by the way. Cheer’s missing the those days.
Same. Listened to this great album once again recently and found myself loving this song more so than I did when it came out. It’s just so smooth, funky, soulful, just absolutely masterful.
+Chris Lacy And Nottz, Robert Glasper , James Poyser , Jazzy Jeff, Quest Love, No I.D., and a few others would hot!!!! She already got a joint with Glasper.
That's because this is hiphop. Drakes and Lil Waynes are industry-created pop music that's marketed toward those who simple chase trends and fads. You're on the right track.
The Renaissance came out at a real down period in my life. I played it all over the place and it had something for every mood under the sun. No matter my vibe at the time though it always put me into a BETTER mood because it's just perfect.
Such a great great great collaboration. Q-tip is to me a unique, genius producer and rapper. One of the very best I know. Every song on The Renaissance album is just perfectly amazing, just like this one. I really love his quality stuff and I truly admire him.
This album is so underrated it’s insane, I remember seeing the cover and never really listening and one day I stumbled across it and it’s truly one of my favorite albums ever
Q-Tip One of the most prolific verbal artists and Norah Jones Beauty and soul, they collaborated and painted a vibrant expression of Hip hop in it's essence, let's bring Music back to it's purity.

@Hypestyle Part of the reason is that American pop music (namely Hip Hop) shifts generations so fast, faster than the technology that distributes it. No other type of American music does this. Which is probably why Q-Tip gave so many shout outs in this song, so that those artists would not be forgotten.
This song is very excellent. A real good, relaxing mood. The beat is awesome. Norah did a good job on the hook. Such an awesome voice. It was cool that Q Tip mentioned some rappers of the beginning and golden era of hip hop. I love the designs of the writings of the rapper’s names. It’s really creative and neat.
I agree with Apollo, this song is SO UNDERRATED, Q-Tips flow on this joint is off the charts, and that beat with Nora Jones sultry voice! This is a banger for sure.
Now that's a nice way for one serious lyricist to show respect for other artists. I already had plenty of respect 4 him. This makes me double that respect. Plus Nora is one of my favorite artists. So the see these two on one track was such a respectful message and a positive vibe. This song will forever be one of my all-time favorites.
Please mumble Rapper's listen to this track. This is what I and millions of other people around the world grew up on. Hip hop that cn hear the lyrics to, a wonderful sample, a great beat, and luxurious vocals work done by Norah Jones. You ask anyone truthful that if they were to listen to Hip hop music then this would be the style of music that they want to hear... I know music moves forward but they're times when you are digressing into the scene. The hip hop/Rnb collaboration on this is first class... Here is something... Anybody that goes back to this style of hip-hop and is marketed properly.. It will be a multi-platinum seller...
for me the state of radio is... well it sucks i don't listen to it anymore... so youtube is my musical source... finding music like this is one of the benefits
