FOR CHRIST SAKE GET IT RIGHT. Hulsbosch had NOTHING to do with the 1984 Qantas livery, that was Tony Lunn and Ron Dyer of Lunn-Dyer Design in Sydney. They also did Australia Post, BHP and I believe also Commonwealth Bank. This erroneous BS about Hulsbosch who sits back and never corrects this needs to stop. Hulsbosch was responsible for stuffing up the 1984 livery in his pathetic redesign in 2007, which Tony Lunn described as “shit” and “the essence of inelegant design with a kangaroo featuring a club foot”. Hulsbosch’s only other claim to fame is Melbourne, a pathetic geometric “M”, Woolworths, who were sure by Apple who’s logo he appears to have copied and Virgin Australia, which elicited frowns and anger from Virgin Atlantic for virtually copying their branding. Since then, he has descended (no pun intended) into obscurity no doubt as the design world woke up to his failure to correct the BS that he had anything to do with Qantas in 1984.
