You can ask the for discount , if he refuse just say thanks and leave the shop to another , he will propably gonna ask you to come back and have discount .So try to get less price before paying.

Shame about the comments you got honestly. As for things being expensive, you fell into the touristy traps of the souq. Go deeper into the allies if you visit again. For the metro, here's a pro tip: It functions like every other metro system in the world where there is a "last train for this station" for each stop. Make sure to plan around that. However, being at Musheireb, you could walk to the Souq through some cool streets so I would prefer that if you had the time.
it is so different to hear some men in Qatar catcalled you guys because there are many rules to it and strict punishments will be given to those men. my American, European friends told me every single man respected them and they travelled all along Qatar and they were treated so respectfully. I never heard of this cat calling in Qatar, but I heard the opposite that they were so respectful. when we all know Qatar is one of the safest countries for women in the world. mam, please report those guys who cat called you to 999 they will take immediate action because of 3-6 guys the whole Qatar is getting wrong name. my friend is living in Qatar for 6 years and she told me that she was never cat called or felt unsafe even in midnight. we can never expect those things safety in America or England.

About the budget, it all depends on where you will have your daily meals but on average, one can easily live for 70 QR daily in my opinion ! I’ll also try to make a video on that subject ! 🤍
Welcome to Qatar, you can have fun at Souq Waqif. Regarding purchases, these prices are not final. They can get upto 20% discount regarding metro transportation and opening times Nowadays you can use bus or Uber and stay till midnight, For the metro, the working time will be changed to 22 hours

No, FIFA went there because Qatar give very big deals to countries like Brazil and France to vote for them and they put money in bank accounts of FIFA. It was about money. But you are correct that it is a safe country.
If you would have come to qatar in normal days you would see no one no one have the guts to harass you any time as this is fifa time lots of fans have arrived and they dont care rule of the land and authorities might not able to take action on personal comments due to fifa moment but be assures qatar is safe no matter what.

All the walking and money you spent inside the Metro is craziest if you just used the underground passage connecting Mshereib and Souq Waqif. It's just across the street.. No need for you to spend money for Metro fare
