I was on the first class BKK-DOH this August. We had the same Rose but Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millenaires 06 instead. End up having the Rauzan and tawny port very nice!
Wow, that’s probably the best selection that I’ve seen on any flight. Nice to see that some airlines still take their wine service seriously. I know you weren’t impressed with a few but even those were better than I’ve seen on my trips on BA.
doublewides: that is why I did the video on this....great wine list even on business. I know am a bit harsh as any of these wines would be a star on BA...haven't been on First Class so can compare but too many great wines so I had to choose my favorites. Cheers!
user: is that an issue? Actually thought the saltiness of the nuts went well with the Bollinger. I wanted to pair Ace of Spades with caviar so I wanted to drink the Bollinger also. Cheers!
