i think this video was before end of Novemebr i guess....since from Nov 15 the New Shk Zayed Terminal A opened...and now all.airlines operate from.there
Thank you for the great trip report. I am surprised to see the QR has taken B737Max with very basic S7 airline interiors (which they were supposed to be delivered to). I understand that it was an easy going options for QR to start using jets straight forward but it is a completely different product QR customers are used to (no IFE, cheap tiny toilets etc)

Kind of sad that the flying saucer gates and the central column with its incredible tile work have pass into history with the opening of the mid-field terminal.
This is the Air conditioning unit, used on ground to cool the plane. This avoids the use of the APU (Auxiliary Power unit - small engine at the rear of the plane - thus, the aircraft is burning less fuel)
Wow the boarding music sucks, is it Dana Al Fardan again??? The yellow stripe on the seats shows the interior was not for QR. Snack looks good with bottle of water, not a miserable cupplet.
