As a South African Muslim I need to learn to speak Arabic simply because I do read the Quraan in Arabic fairly fluently but the problem is I do not understand a thing therefore I need to improve my knowledge in the Arabic language. I am just a little confused about one thing in regards to the scholarship as it says "Organizational nominees (organizations that have signed agreements with Qatar University annually nominate a certain number of students to the ANNS center)", I would like to know do I ask an organisation in my area to email Qatar University directly or do I simply attach the reference which I've received to the application form section "upload documents" under "referral letter" or is the application for a scholarship different? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I tried through the website of the Ministry of Higher Education and they need a "Qatar ID" I do not have at the moment in order to sign up and apply for the certificate of equivalency. Kindly elaborate. Because, I'm a junior clerk in a government college, so does it mean that I have a connection with a government entity and I would be preferred???
I'll give you an example. One of my classmates worked for a ministry back in his home country, & his letter of rec came from a higher up at his workplace. His rec letter vouched for his character and the value he could produce for his home country if he was granted the opportunity to study arabic with a scholarship. That's what I meant by that
