Awesome video man! Appreciate your work! I have a question on the first clip: what if Colorado is disguising the 2 high look & bails into a cover 3 buzz or something similar?
In the first clip shouldn’t he be looking at the left for his reads? He knows it’s a cover 2 zone and the drag and out are gunna occupy 3 defenders especially the safety. Why not read the left side and wether the db the OLB are gunna cover the RB running the flat. Cuz then he’ll know the far safety is gunna be in a tough spot deciding whether to guard the TE slant or the drag on the other side
In the 2nd clip when we had a whip route and fade obviously gotta pick your strong side on this. Since on the right side we had cover 2 we know we have a safety dropping back and a corner who disguising if playing man or deep 3rd. Personally seeing this situation you got to make the cornerback commit to somewhere if you hit that whip route he most likely is gonna roll down and make a tackle. He should have not stared down his receiver making him blind to the corner, instead I would have pump faked the whip and threw a holeshot to the #1 receiver.
No doubt- pump fake and then a hole shot to the boundary is extremely tough. Not a lot of space to make that happen. You don’t need to pump fake in most cases like this- almost Like a little step/shoulder fake is enough to get the DB to crash. If you checkout older Drew Brees film, he was the best at this
@@veelove9736whichever one works for you lol you’re the one reading the defense. If you want to start with safeties do that, if you want to start with the front 7 and the box…do that lol
If they are in off man- I like it initially but then you should work back outside. If you stem and they don’t move then you can just take the inside but if they weave inside then work to attack their outside shoulder. This is for off coverage
In the first clip where you said that the Qb made a good read but threw it late. When should we get the ball out and how will we know where the receiver will end up?
It should be as he’s breaking or slightly before. It all kind of depends on the read and the route. I wouldn’t say there is a one size fits all answer, I can definitely post more content on this!
Appreciate you man, thank you for the support! Closest spot this year would be Boise ID! Here is the info below www.firstdowntraining.com/service-page/boise-idaho-qb-wr-camp?referral=service_list_widget
