@@3132c I understand that. I'm just evaluating the skill set. His arm is strong like Carson's was but his intangibles are like Taylor's were. If you could put Carson and Taylor into one player it looks to be Sam. We saw him against ones last year against Dallas and he wasn't bad, with a week of prep. That's what I mean by he looks different. We get what the other 2 QBs had in one guy.
@@michaelvest1775 we played nearly 0 starters or even rotation players after the first quarter.. almost as if this game mattered way much more to Washington than us.
LETS GO WASHINGTON FANNS!!! Keep this energy until the end of the season. If and when we lose, KEEP THE LOVE AND POSITIVITY!!! Let’s show them we appreciate the team!!!
That completion on 3rd and 15 told me everything i needed to know about Howell. The Oline worries me but if they can get it together and protect Sam then washington will be a problem for sure
I remember when Joe Theisman finally got the starting job as Billy Kilmer was retiring, and Sam Howell getting the starting QB job for Washington will prove to be just as historic and significant.
people forget my boy was a projected first round pick before his last college season his last was only a “ down season “ because all his weapons had turned pro he can ball
Seeing him play all through high school at Sun Valley, this man is an absolute monster. He excelled in football, and baseball, but football was his sport. I can’t wait to see what he does now professionally.
Rio! Watchu doing here?! Lol That play @ 3:38 was the best. Period. Seeing it live was crazy. I’ve said it, time and time again. I’ve been on the Sam Howell train, since his 2020 season, when Dyami Brown was his go-to WR at UNC. I still can’t believe they held it against him in his 2021 season after losing some major weapons. Plus, he ran more. He lasted, until the 5th round. I still, cannot believe that. Not to mention, got him, Jahan Dotson, Brian Robinson and Cole Turner in the Chris Olave trade.
Holds onto the ball way to long defeinetly gonna be concern against great defenses, but he’s clearly creative with great talent, might be a franchise QB
WIN LOSE OR DRAW FELLAS ! Let’s not get down on these men after one bad game! Continue keeping up this amazing energy and let’s help wheel these boys to victory! #HailToTheCommanders
Idgaf wat no one’s says or is saying mark my words Sam Fucken Howell we be our qb1 for years to come this year will be very special and will show wat we are ensured for years to come…#HTTC
Eric is not walking away from Patrick if he did not see Sam as Pro Bowl Material and the Commanders as Playoff Bound _ his reputation and head coaching job is on the line _ Washington D and have weapons on the O side _ this Team can Win it ALL 😅😅😅
Dude he left because of money lmao head coaches get paid way more than coordinators lol he would have taken whatever team wanted him and paid the most money 😂😂
He played against a lot of their 2s; and so did Johnson. The point is executing the offense, in a live-fire setting. He’s young, so he was going to play. And, if he’s just a 5th round pick, and people don’t really know or respect him, yet, any time he gets to show what he can do, only helps him. You don’t see guys who are legit, play a preseason game, stink it up, and you think, “he’s gonna be a star.”
I know this is preseason game, but the qb looks great... I wonder which OC called the game tho, because according to HATER SHADY McCoy, EB doesn't call play!! Ummm... I guess the new rules now implement by SHADY is if you don't call play, you are not qualified to be head coach
He is just missing the big plays, he needs to work on going through his reads. There was a couple of times where he could have went somewhere else with the ball and got more yarda probably touchdowns.
Dude playing lights out against the ravens practice squad players! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 …he still haven’t played a meaningful game yet, he also played well against the Dallas Cowboys in the last game of the season which Dallas was already in the playoffs. 😂 Yep Washington found their star 😂😂😂😂
