Hi, thanks for your feedback! the airy sounds are part of the composition - the flutist had to purposely add air to her playing because she had trained her whole life to avoid airy sounds. :) The mics were near and the instrument was generally soft, so I presume having some key tapping noises are inevitable, but those are not part of the score.

This was utterly beautiful. Both the composition and the performance, just beautiful. Amazing sound and atmosphere. And I don't mind the "airiness" or the sound of the keys; if anything, it adds character, makes the music more humane.

Maybe it was composer's intention, Alex Styles! How can you tell if you didn't see the original partiture? I, personally, find the whole composition very powerfully executed! Would be only right to hear what the composer has to say...

...and then - there's also a question of competence of the person who recorded the sound! I've had all kind of experiances on that subject... not all were pleasant inresults.
