The reason why UK panel shows like this have comedians on (almost exclusively) is exactly that - to take an idea and run with it, as far as they can and in the most entertaining way possible. The host is just there to give the prompt and project an illusion of structure.
Yea, it's being used in the US as well. I think it's been over a year since I saw the video of that food delivery robot driving through a police cordoned crime scene in LA 😂
I'm sure Stephen eventually got his facts out , some of these clips are short perhaps for editing or copyright reasons . There were some amazing ideas for clandestine equipment during the war which obviously inspired Ian Fleming . The anarchic moments when the panellists take over are all part and parcel of many shows . Jodis acting skills look good enough for a play "wot Ernie wrote " .
One you need to react to is ‘Why was the march hare so important to the Aztecs?’ ; though watching the clip I’m not sure if it would have the same effect as it would if you watched the entire episode.
There are other episodes where the participants gang up on Stephen even more. They are like rowdy schoolboys driving the teacher to a breakdown. And Stephen isn't comfortable with improvisations, I guess. He keeps trying to get the show back on track re-reading his lines, but "the children" goes full steam ahead off the rails. One of the best at this is Phill Jupitus. Him and Stephen seems to know eachother well and Jupitus knows exactly what buttons to push to distract Fry. Usually Stephen is a good sport about it and just complains when being bullied like this. But he even raised his voice a couple of times, and I guess those times it had dragged out too long and half an hour of nonsense was cut in edit. I guess that's what you get with a panel full of comedians that will just go on as long as the audience is laughing. And I'm one of them. It's hilarious when Stephen's stern schoolmaster facade cracks and he has no control over the show. :D
Great part of QI. is when they play off each other's jokes , glad when we got to that part of the reaction : didn't like Enabling tantrums ,at start not a good look
You're picking the wrong sessions. The panelists going off at crazy tangents so Stephen or Sandi can't carry on happen all the time. That is part of the usual fun of the programme. Facts come second
Job is yours Jodi! I'm from megalodonmainian film industry. Send me (err our production team 100 000$ and we send you the ticket...🤣😄 About drones - we in Finland are testing food delivery drones, but Australia is leap ahead of us ""Drones are currently being used in regional and remote Australia to improve health outcomes for Indigenous communities. ""
I don't like this one. Something seems incredibly off between you two. I didn't like the way Nick grabbed Jodi's arm when she went to get the water. That was unnecessarily aggressive. Plus the crying, no idea if it was fake or acting but it ties in with the water grab and I think Jodi is genuinely upset. Plus Jodi has her knee's up like she is protecting herself. I'm seriously concerned for her. I used to like watching your videos but now I'm not sure if I want to continue.
