After The Untamed, I discovered this. I fell in love again. Both actors have good chemistry. Goosebumps. I love Yin Chen so much. Looking forward for season 2. 🥰
This drama need more recognition. It was really good. And it need second season with same actors. The cold poker face and strict Wangjue aka Yin Chen actually very fond and pamper Qi ling. He looked cold, and he very strict when he discipline him. He also always make sure Qi ling keep some distance away from him because of the power flow between them that would make his disciples have crush on him. But instead it him who actually always protect him from afar and pamper him in his own way. The way he carried him and hug him to comfort him were so adorable. Though Qi ling sometime were scared of him because of the frozen mouth punishment but according to Lotus, other disciples might went through even worse punishment. And Yin Chen never hurt him more than that. If there is season 2 for this drama, I hope they will used same casts. Because I know most Chinese drama always change their cast when it come to season 2 like "The lost tomb".

Hollywood's cast always acted together in other drama but why can't Chinese drama. 😭😭😭 it same that I want my Xiao zhan and Wang Yi Bo in modern drama or movie, Bai yu gege and Zhu yi long gege in another drama.
I really love this drama. The cold Yin chen has strong affection toward Qi ling. Though he been tough with him but they only punished he would gave him was the "frozen mouth". The way he protected him and comfort him is so sweet and gentle. 1:27 he embraced him gentlely before he console him calmly. He carried him in his arm when he hurt instead of shoulder carry or piggyback. It show how he adore him that he carried him gently in bride style. I love the drama and been waiting for it so long with English subtitles. I must thanks IQiYi for all good drama that came with English subtitles before other online website. That's why only in IQiYi I signed up as VIP because it worth it. This drama is one of my favorite. 2019 and early 2020 blessed me with good drama. Especially during this COV19 epidermic, all good bromance drama that worth to watch. Hope to see more good bromance drama that includes psychical contact like this. The Untamed 2019, Winter begonia 2020, Guardian 2018, Once upon a time in lingjian mountains 2020 are also list of drama that have strong affectionate interactions between the bromance and physical contact. The sleuth of ming dynasty 2020, My roommate is detective 2020, The ancient detective, The lost tomb 1&2, Legend of Awakening 2020, The Ming dynasty, Ice fantasy 1&2 and Nirvana of fire also recommended bromance drama but have quite less pyhsical contact compared with the above lists. Waiting for the other coming soon drama like "The immortality 2021" and "The far away wanderer 2021". *Anyone who know good bromance drama like this please let me know. 😊😅

I'm still waiting for L.O.R.D 2. I tried to find the eng translation for this novel online. You will find some translated chapters but not all. Right now I'm struggling, i don't wanna lose hope in there being a second movie but I'm tired of waiting.😞😞
It has been few years that the author of this novel dropped. He focused on making movies I suppose and there were no sign of any new chapter. Unfortunately. :( I feel pissed off as well.

@@yuwanda1734 I've read only the translated chapter (17 chapters) , because I can't read Chinese. They cover more or less the drama and the movie (1). However in the drama there's a huge side plot that doesn't exists in the novel (at least not in the same timeline).
