The native tribes that were settled in the US Northeast were the Lenape (pronounced with 3 syllables: le na pe. Emphasis on the middle "na" though some people think it should be the last syllable.). I don't always like Jo Brand's style, but think she was particularly enjoyable here. Alan, always wonderful, & picturing him in a father role warms my heart. I just learned about his book & read a couple of excerpts. While I'd like to be able to read it, I doubt I could. Lovely man, been through a lot.
@@kimhewer1479 He does a wonderful job as a writer. Easy to see how well done the book must be. There's no way I could get thru it. Just the bits I read bring things up for me. A whole book would be haunting.
