That individual might be bitter. To be honest, I am also bitter in some type of way. Let me clarify my weird point with a winded story...let start from the very beginning. First and foremost, Garissa is technically part of the recently created country known as Kenya. But, we will always feel part of the greater Somalia. Somalino can't be contained by imaginary boarders or newly created nationalities. The boundaries created by colonialist will never keep us apart. NFD was originally part of Jubaland, which is still in the heartland of Somalia. The British colonialist gifted it to the Italians for their unwavering support against the Germans in WW1. During the second World War(WW2), Italian fascist government sided with the Nazi Germany. So, the British colonialist went against their word and tried to take back Jubaland from the Italian colonialist. The two colonialist eventually came to a compromise and divided it.(See, they rarely fight if they can all benefit). NFD(the slightly bigger half of Jubaland) was then placed under the rule of British colonialist once again. We fought for our own independence. There was never one Kenya fighting as a country. They were actually fighting against and helping their colonialist. Kenya is just an amalgamation of different territories that were merged together by the British. No one wanted to be part of it or was consulted to be part of it. I don't even think anyone truly knows what the name "Kenya" actually means or who came up with it. People make up stories and it has changed over the years. The likes of Idi Amin were fighting for the British colonialist against us in NFD. The sellouts from British Somaliland were also helping out The British colonialist. Warabe and his gutless sc*ms came all the way from Hargeisa. Shameless puppets. They were the same sc*ms that were used to fight against Seyid Abdille Xassan and his darvish army. After all those unfortunate tragedies of them pitting against us one another and killing our livestocks, they(British) then presented us with great opportunity. An option to re-unite the greater Somalia since British was helping Ethiopia free themselves from the Italians. The puppets in Mogadishu and Garowe chose to stick with Italian control and didn't care about the unification. They denied us the chance to be part of our homelands. They were very happy with the Italian rule because it kept them in power. Such a shame our future was placed on the hands of very few sc*ms. So, yes i am bitter and blame those politicians puppets that hailed from Mogadishu and Garowe. They didn't think of the future. Sorry for venting all those hidden frustrations. Lol
