The man using jeans and sneakers is a humble man. He did not dress up fancy to please any audience, if he couldn’t have the same outfit they all used; nonetheless, he still represented his tribe. Salute!
I was in Alaska in the 1970s. But more than thirty years later and after more time in the Great Lakes region, at long last I enjoy this inheritance. Reading, among other tales, "Two Old Women" ( Velma Wallis, illustrations by Jim Grant ) and "At the Mouth of the Luckiest River" ( Arnold Griese, illustrated by Glo Coleman ) has softened my ears. --> tAG

I wanted to see your culture and dance and found this vid, and ngl it kinda reminds me of home when i hear the women chanting and dancing. I may not understand whats being said, but I can feel it in my heart and bones when I see something beautiful. Much love from Palau ❤ 🤙🏼
I am a Koyrak native to Russia and an Inupiat native to North Alaska, it's very hard to find videos about Eskimos or Siberians, you kind of have to go to the tribes themselves to see dances or powwows, I don't think I have never heard of Palau but it seems interesting
