I was in the band on the maiden voyage of this lovely ship. I must say that entering NY harbor brought a tear to my eye knowing I was seeing the Statue of Liberty as my Grandparents must have seen. I hope to have the chance to be part of her crew again.

Why are there always these little boats nudging the big boat near the harbor as if chicks come cowering at the side of their hen mom when she comes home ... from the age of Titanic to this it never changes lol

She really is a Queen.

Wow, she's lovely, was just on her in October...even after almost 15 years, she's still got it ! Of course, I preferred her older sister, Queen Elizabeth 2, but sadly she was taken out of service. Still, the QM2 is a worthy replacement, and I can't wait to sail on her again!

Of all the 'Queens'' high rise looking ships produced these days this ship has the flashiest ''Grill''

Has anyone met the captain of the QM2 ? when I WAS BOARDING TO GO TO MY SUITE HE WAS ON DECK 8 & I SAW HIM & ALMOST FAINTED ! HE LOOKED LIKE CAPTAIN SMITH OF THE TITANIC . WHITE HAIR & A WHITE BEARD ;)
