Just seen your comment, had to laugh. Found QO100 to be a bit too click for my liking. I ended up using a helical feed in the end as the poty arrangement caused a bit too much attenuation on a small dish. The tx on the poty though was about 4 dB up on tx. That's what amplifierscare for I guess 😂
I bought a bullseye lnb to be used on ku satellite for tv channels which should arrive in a few days but later i learned it needs a power injector to work! !! Because in the seller's description it says Requires a 12-19V bias tee power injector, . 11.5 - 14V enables vertical polarization and 16 - 19V enables horizontal polarization. I can't find this power injector to buy! !! I've looked for days and I can't find it because I bought this lnb to gift my brother! !
You need a bias-T. They are easy to find on Amazon/eBay etc. Then just connect a power supply (12V). Make sure it’s off when you are connecting the cable’s F-connectors as any short could blow your power supply.
