Thank you guys, it’s been great watching you in this rollercoaster of a season. Looking forward to more of your input during the next campaign 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️🔵⚪️
Rollercoaster is the right word! Since we went top in October 2022 it's been bonkers following this club. Thanks for watching and commenting and we will be back soon!
My ratings (I do half marks as I don’t have to figure out an average): Field 8/10 Fox 6.5/10 Frey 5/10 Hayden 8/10 Hodge 5/10 Kakay 4/10 Kelman 4/10 Kolli 5/10 Larkeche 5.5/10 Paal 6.5/10 Smyth 6.5/10 Willock 6.5/10 Ainsworth 2/11 (out of 11 as a Spinal Tap reference) Cifuentes 9/10
Top ratings and thanks for all your support and comments this season. We had a few lower ones in Part 2. We all seem to agree Ainsworth was a 2. QPR have been very lucky to survive after his tenure.
Hi lads Round 2 Ding, Field, Rangers in his blood and he gives it all on the pitch.9. Fox, Very dependable player and can play in most positions.7. Frey, Jury still out with him, maybe a squad player at best. 5. Hayden,We needed his quality in def mid, would have back, 8. Hodge, hard to judge as never really got a sniff, with the goal, 6. Kakay, Great attitude,Did have the odd decent game, 5. Kelman, We need a 15/20 goal striker next season, Get rid.2. Kolli, Marty seems to like him so i go with that, 5. Larkeche, Seems like a rich mans Kakay, Could be anything,4. Paal, always dependable, links well with Chair nicks a goal, 7. Smyth,I Like Paul gives everthing sure he will improve under Marty, 8. Willock, Will be sorry to see him go! bags of potential, Always a threat, 7. Ainsworth, A great human being, QPR legend, loves the club, But allways looked rabbit in headlights! got to with a 4, Marty our Saviour, When they said we were getting a Spanish coach it was YES!!!! I Was at his first home game and i new then we were going to be ok! 11.
Good ratings Tony, more in line with George but after ending the season on a high who can blame you! Highest rating I've seen yet for Ainsworth, but one thing we all agree on... Marti is the man!!
Paal probably is better than Bidwell, I just feel he's comparable as a 'steady' player rather than one who really excites. Arguably that is no bad thing! Fair ratings overall from you and we probably should have given Ainsworth a 1 really. I forgot to say it in the show but I generously gave him 1 point for each win he got this season.
I don't think it's 'very' harsh. For me I gave Chair, Field and JCS 8, and I don't think Hayden was the same as them across the time he was here so he gets 7. As I said in the show he struggled a little more in the last few weeks. A great signing though and anything around 7 or 8 is fair enough.
Not fussed if CW leaves. Paal needs to be much better going forward. He looked lost in many games. Looking forward to seeing him improve. Let's face it, the table doesn't lie. Many of these players were simply not good enough, and that was highlighted by how big an impact our January signings made. There's only a couple of players I would be sad to see leave.
That is true, a lot of players having a good end to the season has changed opinions, but you are right this is largely a group of players that had struggled for 18 months. I'm sure Marti will continue to freshen it up but the foundations are better now.
Gareth Ainsworth deserves a 10, for doing this best to get you relegated. Marti Cifuentes gets a 1, for ruining Ainsworth’s master plan…. 🐝💤 A special mention must go to Begovic, who you were mad enough to play for most of the season !!!
