Qsc rmx 5050 is the best amp period I drive it in a stereo 2ohm load with 8 18inch sub's! shakes every venue! effortlessly. its heavy but worth every penny
I'm in the marker for a 2-ohm stable amp for subwoofer use and this review was helpful. A local dealer has a used RMX amp and now I know it's going to be a safe purchase. Plus, Ron (here in the video) is a real pleasure to deal with. A good, solid man.
Crown is the amp to buy if you can afford it,but I got lucky and bought Gx5 for 250.00 and I have it matched to a pair of Mackie S515s it sounds awesome!so I think I'll keep it for a little while,I Love crown and I always will!
Im a avid beleiver in qsc my entire consist of the rmx series i ve been using them for over 25 years and never had to take one out of the rack i don,t work at guitar center but i usually sell more qsc ampe than the guys that work there in va beach va
Hi good day I have a q.s.c plx3602 problems.... the problem is the relay clicking on for a few minutes and clicking of it comes on for a few minutes and of I don't know what causing that problem can you let me what can I do
Estas teniendo un problema de pulso en el autocoplador que esta enviando pulsos a los mofet IGBT es la corriente que esta queda cargados en los capacitores de fuente , hasta que los capacitores no descarguen no deja de enviar pulsos, es un fallo en la parte PWM
What series of amplifier were you considering. I tend to agree with the video, if you want to run at 2 ohms I have had the best success with the RMX. I would look for a RMX 4050a if I were you and *had* to run at 2 ohm, but I prefeer to run at 4.
i have a QSC PLX 3602 with problems also the plx seem to always burn at the bridge rectifier section transistors are obsolete on these units. pretty much an expensive throw away amp.
QSC MX Series is a Discontinued Model of QSC Amplifier. It was a heavy duty power house holding lots of power, Modular Construction, Direct Metal Mounted Power Transistors and was designed to be Fan Cooled. The MX version could carry a load from 8 ohms to 2 ohms.

The best and most durable amplifier qsc ever make is the mx model not even rmx 5050 could sound better than the mx 3000 so all those who have the mx model hold on to it they don't make them like that anymore.
Haye you ever opened your MX 3000 ? Then you will discover that it is almost the same like the RMX 4050 HD, QSC EX 4000, JBL MPA 1100 , MPX 1200! The RMX 4050 HD and RMX 5050 are updated versions of the MX/EX Series. Even the Crown XLS 5000 is a RMX 5050 with less functions ( Filters etc ). "HD" series means full 2 ohm support back in the days. The HD Series stays cooler in 2 Ohm Mode!
Fiable laissez moi rire toujours des problèmes j'ai un ami qui est prestataire vend du matériel de beaucoup de marque QSC pas fiable les clients reviennent avec leurs ampli en panne c'est cher. Il m'avait dit je vais vous en vendre un modèle Je pourait aller au restaurant tous les soirs avec ma femmme c'est véridique
