Nasi Lemak is a very versatile dish,as long the main ingredient is there which is the rice, u can pair the rice with bbq chicken,curry,rendang or even pan fried salmon
im soo proud of u!! not all malaysian can cook nasi lemak.. i really wish u could taste my version of nasi lemak. u eat with your hand just like a true malaysian, love u QT

I finally caught up to all your videos QT! I had missed the last 3 and was pleased to find you doing a dish from my country. A lot of people do eat it with their hands but since nasi lemak is usually purchased from makeshift stalls owned by small business owners who set up from vans and cars in front of office buildings, I usually use a plastic soup spoon (provided) so I won't have sambal on my fingers all day long. Trust me, it's hard to get the smell off! I got inspired to do some videos too, have uploaded two, which are nowhere near as good as yours but I'm interested in doing more videos thanks to you. Am so from Malaysia QT. And nasi lemak is definitely Malaysian National Dish😀😀😀. We eat it during breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper, post supper, tea time. Basically anytime. For the sambal ikan bilis, usually we will add "belacan", fermented prawn paste and also "petai". Google em😊. Good effort tho. And the banana leaf is so correct!! Kudos QT. U r there

Hey Quinnecia! Back in the day, when I first started cooking. There were plenty of trial and errors but I never wasted it and just ate it or try to turn it into something else.
+Lola Powell Q is so sweet that he just has to stick his finger in to sweeten things hehe Or, that's how he measures how much water to add to make perfect rice in the cooker (with your finger sitting on top of the rice, add water up to the first knuckle line) It works no matter how much rice you make!
