Comprehensive, intelligent. Gary’s tech savvy and well spoken. Excellent content. Nice work. I watched the whole thing and I don’t even own one of these (yet).
Hell yea! Just bought my Quad this month and have used 3 patches. Brit 2203, Rolls Jazz CH120 and the life changing EV101IIIRed. I been searching for the sound I had a decade ago with the 2X12 5150 Combo. Regrettably I had to sell that gear. Fast forward to last month on the fence about QC, then randomly decided to go buy it. Once I heard the EVH Red patch - it ended. It is perfect. My unicorn search has ended. lol Haven't touched a setting. Haven't felt I wanted to. And still EASILY worth every dollar. Just for those 3 patches. It's wiiiild. Changed my life QC has done with this. Beautifully done. Keep up the QC videos. Cheers. Thought I'd suggest what I''m using for an amp. Yorkville 100W Powerwedge. Super affordable and doesn't color the sound at all. It's very nice.
Just subbed! Watched the whole thing. Excellent Video. The best one I could find. Keep on going man. Super informative and super knowledgeable and you present it in a way that is very easy to understand! Great video
Look in the owners manual for finding out what amp is named on the qc, its a free download from neural, just go to the website. Look in the devices section, toward the end of the manual, and it tells you exactly what everything is modeled after in detail.
This is true. There have been a few times that the manual has failed to specify the exact real-world models due to strict copyrights though. That's why some folks have resorted to tracking out of band guides.
You're welcome! I have many more QC tips and tricks videos in the making that will be coming out over the next few weeks. So make sure to subscribe to check them out!
informative video! btw is there any way to play music through the QC from my macbook to play along side my guitar? ive got my usb port connected between the devices and ensured my macbook outputs to the quad cortex. however, no music is playing out from my studio monitors.
Thank you! If you plug your quad cortex into the USB of your Mac, you should be able to send music via DAW (logic/GarageBand,etc) through one of the 4 USB inputs. Then you would be able to hear the music through that USB input lane of the device. You may need to configure a grid lane with the USB you are sending from the mac to the output you wish to hear on the QC. Let me know if this works for you. If not, I can capture my specific settings and send them your way. Also, take a look at the audio interface software blackhole. It gives you much better control over input and output of audio signals on your Mac.
There are a lot of introductions to topics in this video without very much explanation. I wish it were more useful, but it kinda feels like one really long clickbait.
I am sorry you feel that way, as it wasn't my intention to make this seem like click bait. My exact intentions were just what you outlined. Introduce many topics and describe enough about them to get you started. More of the content on the quad cortex playlist starts to expand on these areas, with more videos still in the works.
