Its the Stroboscopic Effect but with Notes. The Notes are going so fast that your brain is replacing the one before it, making it look like it’s going upward. What I find interesting is how when I “concentrate”, the effect seems to go away instantly. Im currently researching this phenomenon for fun as I think it might be useful to understand how rhythm gamers process Notes.
