As far as MRTS IS concerened Down Line Track from Fort station upto RBI Quarters is to be laid that is Ballast and Sleepers to be laid then Track is to be laid. MRTS Park Town station Roof top work is pendig. Seating Benches have to be installed in the Platform. Construction of Footoverbridge is nearing completion. Once this is over then After CRS inspection MRTS Services can be started from first week of Nov 2024. Fortunately for the past 5 days we are having warm bright sunshine . 4TH Line project may take some more time as Tracks have to be laid in some places. T Girder placed on the Minor Bridge is to be completed. Existing 3rd line which was realigned with the new 4th Line Near Park Station the cut off portion will have to be realigned with the new 4th Line track coming from Chennai Egmore station. Yes this is indeed a very challenging project . The workers and all other staff of the Railways are doing their best for the early completion of this Project. since you captured this video from THE Express train we could have a closer view of the update. @MyWayRailway yes realignment at Park station is over but thr existing 3rd track which has been partially cut ( you can clearly see in the Video) will again be realigned with the new 4th line Track being laid from Chennai Egmore to Park. These both tracks will have to be joined.
A project would have been finished long long ago , dragged this much and that also for just 200 meters land is tragic beauty fun of democracy and stupid priorities taking over real things everywhere. At last somehow and anyhow manner, project is nearing completion. Thanks sir

very delayed project for 25 years. no foresight planning . now single track from RBI to Fort . waiting for crossing in peak hours for MRTS .pathetic . Also chennai park and central no direct rail connection due to improper planning
