Yeah, same. Too much is reflective; things like grass and stone *should* catch light bounces and color but they shouldn't reflect the world. Metal? Sure, metal can be reflective.
@@kayeplaguedoc9054 I'm pretty sure old games like this didn't differentiate "materials" in that way because they didn't use specular maps, etc. So in a case like this, it's all or nothing. That's why Quake 2 RTX they had to retexture the entire game
is there some kind of optimization that shuts off the unseen lights? there seems to be some lights going off when they shouldn't: 1:20 Also there seems to be clipping in the colour of some lights: 1:14
@@justinmarshalltech I went to the link, downloaded the 3 downloads. Not sure which one to extract using Win 7. Once they're extracted, I copied what I thought I should copy into the steam folder, and nothing changed. I can't find specific instructions anywhere.
