This takes me back. I remember training these yeaarrrss ago :) There's quite a few here I hadn't seen before. A fancy one that's missing is a grenade+rocket combo to get on top of the map.
apparently FPS had a lot of influence between making and not making the jump. I had a crappy computer that couldn't reach 90fps so most of my jumps failed. When I was at a lan party and used the computer of my clan mate, I could do all the jumps with no problem. Since then I always wanted a computer that could give me the best FPS in any FPS game :)
A few of these I have seen before, like back in the day-ish. For some of these I kinda had a feeling that their are possible, felt the potential. But more than 70% of this video was mindblowing to me :D :D :D
Man I cant imagine how many hours i put into Q2 back in the day, it was a total blast. The skill required to do this stuff was wild. Jump maps were incredibly frustrating. 00|Merlin back in my q2 days.
That jump you should be able to do on any normal fps settings afaik, but its very hard to be consistent. I normally use control to jump but I bound jump to mouse3 for some jumps because it is easier to press fast, and that is one where you have to press jump very fast. Also as you can see the jump is basically doublejumping from the second lowest stair off the edge of the top stair.
