Love how GR stares into Daisy's soul at the end and determines for himself that no, she isn't the sinner she believes herself to be. If the freaking Ghost Rider believe you're innocent, you're innocent, okay?!
Reminds me of the Ghost Rider tie-in to "World War Hulk" where even the Spirit of Vengeance itself believed Hulk's rampage against the Illuminati was justified and chose to just leave them to their fate.
Anything Daisy was blaming herself for and believed she deserved death over was not her fault, GR realized that, but to be fair everyone except Daisy knew that.
TheKersey475 That was only because ghost rider was undergoing his origin change back then and hadn’t fully been revamped yet. He went from caring about guilt and innocence to sin. Had hulk ran into gr like he was at say the uncanny avengers annual, zarathos would’ve fried him. Only the host cares if you’re innocent now, spirts like zarathos don’t care
@@Icybubba I loved that moment She’s asking him to end it for her and he looks into her soul and sees that she hasn’t done anything wrong She’s just holding onto a lot of guilt and pain and shame It’s a really great moment
@@jaycomic9108 a pile of dung is better than supergirl... I get more exited watching the door of my room open or close then when I watch supergirl. I take more pleasure pulling my teeth or nail then watching supergirl. dont even make me start about batwoman.
Nope. Quake would win. Daisy and Frank have more or less similar skills in therms of hand to hand BUT he's better with weapons and has a lot of them, while she has powers. In the comics she took down characters like Wolverine, Deadpool, Captain America, Bullseye, Taskmaster, Magneto (when he got extra powers) and more but of course Daisy in the MCU isn't that powerful as Quake in the comics but i'm sure that she would still defeat Punisher, at that point we have seen her for example killing Malick by crushing him or killing a Kree by breaking his spine in few seconds. So I'm sure that she would win.
The facial expressions on Ghost Rider are amazing: - When Daisy stops the shelf thing from falling on her, he's staring at her shock waves almost like "Hm. That's actually pretty cool." - And when Daisy says "I deserve it." His eyebrows rise in curiosity yet again, and he almost looks sympathetic while at the same time contemplating murdering her.
Love Chloe Bennet! Her acting has seriously improved over the 4 seasons and you can really feel her guilt and her pain in her words when she's begging Robbie to kill her
Still pulls at your heartstrings that moment when she says “do it”.I mean if Ghost Rider doesn’t think you’re guilty, then sweetheart you’re not guilty.
Technically only the host wouldn’t. If they went by the books, depending on the spirit, the spirit may think otherwise. Zarathos for example doesn’t care who’s guilty or innocent, only sin
0:53 I'm pretty sure you can actually see Ghost Rider telling Robbie not to let her go here. As if he wants to find out more and it conflicted with Robbie just trying to cover for himself. Robbie did a full 180 in his actions and got quite a bit more sinister right after this discomfort you can see here.
@@probot6515 True, i was refering to the one in agents of shield, Black Bolt is mostly an exception, most inhuman would be trashed by a random asgardian civilian for example
@trackert3358 If you watched that scene carefully you can see that many times she used her powers to protect herself from his attacks - like for example, she created that massive shockwave to protect herself when they hit the ground .
I really like how at then end when hes staring at daisy after she says she deserves it, the way the skull moves imitating eyebrows is really good, I loved seeing his angry expression softening in those few moments, obviously surprised at how someone would just let themselves be killed because they think they deserve it
Sora Iι Well he did win. He could have killed her right then and there in this scene or when he had her tied up in the second episode or when he saved her when she was about to be killed by that inhuman with fire powers.
+Sora Iι Ghost riders are notoriously hard to kill. In human form alone Robbie took multiple quantum energy attacks and was impaled several times and could still have a conversation with the spikes in him.
Here he has but actually in comics he does not have the Spirit of Vengeance but has the Spirit of Eli Morrow, a mass murder. However he uses the powers for the same reason as the Spirit of Vengeance and so considered a Ghost Rider
Ghost rider does look pretty amazing, little bit worried about how they're treating Daisy's powers though. They make it look more like she is telekinetic than actually producing vibrations strong enough to cause earthquakes.
Simon McCaffery they are defiantly vibrations. Telekinesis is moving things with their mind, of which she cannot do. She clearly vibrates things around her to cause a disruption, such as earthquakes or pushing him backwards, or even keeping the shelf from falling on her
I don't get it. How does ABC pull off these effects when that awful Inhumans trailer just came out? Did their budget get usurped by those stupid IMAX cameras nobody asked for?
Imo its reasonable to put lower budget on a franchise that barely no one outside the fans know about, its all a good business move. So if inhumans fail (which it did), they dont lose too much money
Agents of SHIELD is the most connected to the films out of all Marvel TV/Netflix series, so their VFX has to be at that level. Look at Lash, Gordon, Lincoln, Absorbing Man, their VFX is incredible.
because ever since season 4 ended, marvel decided the literal proof of what people want was something else. What's happened since. Canceled multiple netflix shows people loved, completly screwed up inhumans. There hulu/ABC freeform shows have a very clear demographic of the new generation of younger tweens/teens, though oddly both "Runaways" and to me the way better one "Cloak and Dagger" are somehow way more in touch with a sense of reality and good writing than say, MCU spider-man (and obviously inhumans, medusa's hair and the zero ackowledgement of "earthly inhumans" was horrible without mentioning bad acting, useless characters, etc). However, it would seem the idea of a full fledged well budgeted tv show is something there not interested in anymore. also btw disney owns abc and abc freeform, marvel may make their own stuff but they need somewhere to air it. It's also pretty known they've been trying to end agents of shield since season 4 ended as well. Though now that it'll be doing a season 7 in 2020 or rather "season 6 part 2" it's probably best now.
Because they didn't believe that the Inhumans was a worthwhile property to invest in from the get-go, so they put the money into AoS, which they knew was already successful.
It's happening because she's overexerting herself, using her powers too much, like Yo Yo told her. The way I see it, Daisy using her powers isn't different from an ordinary person doing exercise, it requires effort. If you do it for too long at a time and don't allow your body to rest, you exhaust yourself.
I love how Quake has the advantage initially and seems really confident but then Robbie lets out the Rider. You can practically see Quake thinking “Oh Crap!”.
Ororo and Thor no she still can’t he can only die through weapons forged in heaven and the centipede serum she used on graviton was a temporary boost not permanent and she didn’t crack the planet graviton would have after he absorbed her powers so Quake would still get stomped by ghost Rider
@@shawnsouth327 At this time, Daisy couldn't even control her powers, she literally struggled to hold a shelf. Now she's turning aliens into to dust, shattering guns and weapons effortlessly, breaking body parts easily. Daisy has majorly upgraded and would defeat him now. And I never stated that she would kill him.
Ororo and Thor doesn’t matter ghost Rider is basically immune to all damage his durability is on a whole other level feats are feats are feats man she ain’t whooping Ghost rider besides he has a chain and a car and can outrun her on foot plus he’s physically way more powerful on top of that and can teleport now with his chain I love daisy but if she fought ghost Rider again she’d get knocked the fuck out or die especially if he got pissed
Love how the Ghost Rider kinda weighs her up, and her sins, debating whether or not to kill her but ultimately let's her go. It's like he sees just how much her 'sins' (and I say it like that because she wasn't in control), pain her, and how much she hates herself for it, and realises just how innocent she is, and that he doesn't need to make her pay for her sins, because she's already making herself pay, and it looks like that's something he hasn't seen before and it almost surprises the Ghost Rider
I want his surgeon, the very next day he was picking up his brother and his face already looked PERFECT, like it never melted off his skull which then went up in flames. Amazing!
probably in future episodes, because Johnny Blaze is the OG Ghost Rider (Not including Phantom Rider), and in the comics Robbie becomes a protege of Johnny Blaze
Love how the Rider always tilts his head when someone does something. In Spirit of Vengeance when Nadya shouted for Danny, GR looked curiously at the dead Danny. Here, when Daisy begged to die he again tilted his head in wonder. I like it!
MasterOfDawid or get his own series on Netflix. Maybe have moon knight and blade and punisher show up as well so you have the defenders (the righteous ones) and the Marvel Knights (the anti heroes)
AOS had it's ups and downs. but damn this was one of the best MCU moments, don't care if Disney doesn't like it. GR's introduction here was intimidating, dark and perfectly executed.
I don't think Daisy hurts herself because she uses her powers too much. She used to move a mountain and a plane I guess she hurts herself because she's stronger and she's afraid of lose control so she's reflecting her power inside. And she can't stop it because she thinks that she deserves it.(Yeah, you already knew that why did I wrote those LOL)
I do think she's over using it it's pretty much every day with her. If we think of using powers like exercising to become stronger then we can see it as her "muscles" are tired from all the strain and no break in between use.
yeah i think so too, i suppose that's the price for controlling it i guess, which is odd because if you have better control over something is supposed to, you know, not hurt you, or she is doing subconsciously because she thinks she deserve pain.
Thor Odinson _Why? She's the only reason this show is still on. Plus the creators said this was _*_her_*_ origin story there not gonna kill her off the never gonna kill her off. So get used to it._
@@iamjulian2810 You dont have to like her just dont go around bitching about how bad of a character she is because she's staying on the show rather you like it or not bitch
Robbie Reyes is possessed by his uncle's soul, Eli Morrow. Think of Banner losing control of his rage and becomes The Hulk. Two personalities. One with furious rage, the other who just wanna be normal :)
Seems like they're mixing the origins of Johhny Blaze and Robbie Reyes. So instead of being possessed by his uncle Eli, Robbie might be possessed by Zarathos
I can't wait to see Ghost Rider stand among the Agents of SHIELD lineup in some poster. (Or he remains an outcast and doesn't appear on any posters but is own.)
So I'm at episode 2 of season 4 now and so far Daisy and the Rider fought twice, and both times it ended with Daisy disarming Robbie who had a flaming weapon, so he just socked her in the face for the win. Is his ultimate move the "Rider Punch" or something? Because so far he's 2 and 0 against a highly trained former SHIELD Agent with Earthquake powers, by using a one-hit-KO-Punch.
Wurzelknecht Well to be honest, one punch from the Ghostrider with full force is enough to kill her. She might have earthquake powers but she is not the Hulk nor is her body indestructable . The rider has to pull his punches to even keep her alive. She is just an agent and an inhuman, the Ghostrider is on a whole another level. A supernatural/mystical being who takes on beings like Galactus and other celestial beings.
Good to know. I'm not that well versed in the Ghost Rider-mythology. Now I just wish that Galactus would appear in the MCU, but I guess Fox owns the rights to his character.
Wurzelknecht (a highly trained shield shield former member) bro...this guy has made a deal with the devil how the hell are you thinking?, the fight was too long because of her trying to keeping him away but when he got close...it was one strike i mean he could punch her anytime right?, but when ?, she was keeping him away all the time with her power if it was a fight in a closed place it would be so easier for him
I didn't think I would like this version of ghost rider (big fan of blaze hope he gets his own Netflix series). But you know what, I am a fan of The Robbie Reyes version now. I thought it was awesome.
He would, but Robbie made a deal with Eli when he got stuck in Robbie's body, the deal was that he would get to kill, but only kill murderers, thieves, rapists, etc.
Could be that its not Eli, and they've gone the more Johnny Blaze route. "So, you've got the devil inside you too." Probably wasn't thrown in there for shits and giggles. Could be adding a bit more then the black/white spectrum to who gets to live and who dies, which is pretty interesting.
+Diego Donnangelo I don't want to spoil it too much, but she feels heavy guilt over somebody incredibly close to her dying because/for her. And there's more to it in terms of other reasons behind the guilt, but that's the main one.
Lurvens Joseph lol no ghost rider takes on celestial beings there is no way she is going to take him down the rider even took out the hulk in the comics
Yes but this is the Cinematic universe, not the comics. This version of Daisy is stronger than this version of Ghost-rider. She would of kicked his ass if she had her gauntlets and wasn't burdened by the guilt of killing her friend.
@@callumsworld2503 no way man this version of ghost rider is powerful enough to take down daisy many heros or supervillains not as strong as johny blaze version but he is very strong he is even immortal and how the hell do you think daisy can take down ghost rider
I didn't like him to start with either but now i do, he just suits the ghost rider. There were rumors a while back of a ghost rider series with Robbie but i haven't seen anything recent about it. He SHOULD have his own series. A series with Slade would be awesome too.
If they bring him in the actual MCU like in movies, I'd love his car to take a sound like The Batman's car. Like a loud devilish scream. That would be dope.
That’s Johnny Blaze, he is the one with the flaming motorbike. Johnny Blaze gave Robbie the Ghost Rider power as well, but Robbie doesn’t own a motorbike but does own a car. Personally I think Johnny Blaze is a lot better and stronger than Robbie
ShadowReaper Currently he is because Johnny is the true ghost rider, what he gave Robbie may have been the spirit of vengeance but he isn't the true ghost rider
3:16 did it- *soft???* It's eyes looked softer at her??? WHAT Daisy is my fav gal and Ghost Rider looking into Daisy's soul and letting her go?? The girl is great as hell. Also I love how I can bet if she had her gauntlets she would top him? (I mean that as damn I want them teaming up more XD) Also Robbie having the face to call QUAKE choking him up "tica" 2:10 is precious XDXDXD
Maybe she could even beat him, Robbie at that point was to inmature to understand the full power of Zarathos, even calling him "the devil" in his limited understanding, but, if Zarathos take full control of his body, GR can completely K.O. her, even with her gauntlets, after all, he's a powerful (almost unlimited) interdimensional entity.
Her gauntlets only help her use her powers more precisely, this has been confirmed many times in the comics. Her breaking her bones is a result of her bad mental state. It was mentioned in the show that her powers are connected to her emotions so when she's mentally broken and doesn't feel need to life (like here) she's hurting herself.
@@bifa5414 it's been quite literally two years so I don't remember for sure, but I think that's exactly what I meant Fighting with control and more steadiness, and a easier way to direct her powers, would balance the fight a lot, she would have more chances :DDDD
She feels guilty for doing bad things, like nearly killing Fitz and Mack, under Hive's sway (although she was essentially mind-controlled), and for the fact that her boyfriend Lincoln sacrificed himself in her stead to stop Hive.
I've seen a lot of hate for the old Ghost Rider and this new version. While I wasn't too keen on a Ghost Rider in a car, they did it very well. Now a "Rider" can drive ANY vehicle. A motorcycle, a horse, and a car. So while I may not have been used to it I am keeping a open mind and I'm impressed.
