When Daisy informed Nathaniel that they had converted the Chronicoms that were on Earth, he wasn't defeated yet. Just as he was about to kill Daisy and win, he realised that Daisy was willing to die in order to stop him, which was what surprised him as he, who did not care about anyone, could not understand the concept of self-sacrifice for others, which was why he didn't predict it.
@@FOXCYBORGNINJA Even his brother wasn't this narcissistic, though perhaps he was humbled after the mistakes he made, and the fact that he grew up. Nathaniel was quite a far cry from the version of him we saw in Season 3.
One of the reasons I liked that Nathaniel got to be the final boss of the series is that he was someone we wanted to see Daisy take out. I just felt so horrible about Talbot having to be killed, so it's nice to have a villain that the heroes have no emotional attachment to and doesn't leave us feeling sad for them in the end. It made the fight more like a battle as opposed to stopping someone from doing wrong.
It's kind of like the Thanos we got in Endgame. We have no sympathy for him because that version of him hadn't gone through the character development that made us feel sympathy for him in Infinity War. He has gone to being more like his comic book counterpart who was just another red shirt bad guy that the heroes needed to stop. It just makes us root for our heroes more. I just feel like Marvel has done a good job giving us very sympathetic and perhaps misunderstood villains with good intentions, but sometimes, we just need a bad guy to just be the bad guy for our heroes to stop.
@@Unversed333 except that that’s not true, the Thanos we see in Endgame is pretty much the Thanos we see in Infinity War, his development had already happened. His development was tied to Gamora and they told us that that’s the Thanos from 2014, aka the year of the Guardians decided to form

Okay but the cgi wasn't terrible. Maybe in s1 but it got way better. Like the powers of inhumans, the framework, the quantum realm etc. They looked pretty realistic
I loved how they ended this show. The last season there were fewer CGI effects (the final 13 episodes) because they were saving it all up over the season to make the last episode like a movie. It worked. This scene has gone down as one of the biggest closures to any show on television.
Daisy is like a continent level superhero. In s5 we were fold she can take down buildings, not the planet and yet her blast here, obliderated mulyiple ships
No. Her being able to take down continents was said in Season 2 (By Sif). Her being able to destroy the world was said in Season 5 when they were in the bad future.
I love how Bear McCreary went all out on Daisy's theme in the last episode. It sounds like he used not only one but at least three orchestras at once while scoring that scene.
Did anyone else notice that those Chronicom ships were Vulcan Cruisers from Star Trek Enterprise with the Power Orb of an Ori Mothership from Stargate Sg-1? This ending is amazing IMO.
SHIELD used to be having a great effect like the ghost riders era but after they decited to end it and focus on the rest MCU series seems they cute the budget and ending the series :(
There are no plans for a show called Agents of SWORD, but there is one called Secret Invasion that stars Nick Fury, and that could be a great place for her to show up in.
@@Craigy2818 Well, she wasn't in Secret Invasion, despite the rumors. Still would love for her to return in a future installment just so this show gets some proper acknowledgement in the MCU.
I’m saying this again , Her character deserved a much better villain and ending to her arc Nathaniel is just not it EVERY Aos fan wanted her to connect to the mcu … the leaked rumor of the gang loosing to the robots and then finding them selves back on the main mcu timeline and ghost rider appears and takes them to the battle at endgame WOULD HAVE BEEN EPIC but that’s just a rumor BUT the show runners Definitely had endgame in the finale but was taken out which sucks hope they drop the extra 20 min of footage to endgame in finale online somewhere
@@user-kx3bj9co7j As the resident Quake fan, if this happens ill eat my fucking pants. I see no future where Marvel at least keeps this version of daisy that we know. In all likelihood they'll give her a 'fresh start' with a new actor, and new chances to BUTCHER the inhumans story line.
This is great female Marvel superhero. Why they just didn't bring her back in decent show or movie? It would be so great and fans would excited. Plus she ethnic so even critics would be possibly. I just don't understand Marvel.
One, the actress does have other projects in the works. Two, I don't think there has been a good place for her to pop up yet. It would be fantastic if she showed up in Secret Invasion, but I'm not getting my hopes too high.
1. Can you imagine how much more satisfying it woulda been if the final fight of the series was between her and either Sarge or, better yet, a reprogramed version of LMD Coulson. I mean talk about bringing the show full circle emotionally. Instead we just got this fucking guy. 2. For a show with usually such smart writing, this plan is just dumb. Like even if they could be sure Kora's powers would 100% bring Daisy back from the dead, SHE BLEW EVERYTHING AROUND HER THE FUCK UP, how is her body fully intact and how could they have planned for that? Like I woulda bought it a bit more if Daisy blowing up the ship with herself on it was a tragic, unplanned sacrifice and the team manages to find her body and you got this heart wrenching moment of whether or not Kora could revive her.(Kora: "I can heal people, I don't know if I can bring them back from the dead." May: "YOU HAVE TO TRY DAMMNIT!"). But the fact that they seemingly planned every bit of this out is such a dumb climax to what was a usually very smartly written show.
Fitz used the quantum realm to see countless possibilities of how everything would play out, he already knew Kora's powers can revive Daisy. Don't know it would be dumb writing. Also, her body's still intact because she was the one who caused the destruction. Remember what Fitz said in 2x11 and what happened at the temple in 2x10.
They have the same powers? But whenever he uses his powers sometimes his eyes glows white. I wonder which one is more powerful at using their powers? 3:00 He made like a bright shiny yellow ball lol 😆 I don't know if it funny or not but it's probably not but eh yeah
And he would probably be more skilled using the powers because , technically hes had them way longer as daisy travelled into the past before he stole them, and hes had them since .

Too me this storyline like this being Daisies Big finale fight ended was weeakkk asffff cause she has come WAYYYY to far as a character to have to STUGGLE with this rip off wanna be like cmon like we all know that they was supposed connect back to the mcu the events of endgame and after but they had to cut the extra twenty minutes to footage dedicated to endgame
She was not trying to kill Nathaniel. She was keeping him busy while the others took out the Chronicoms and saved the Earth. Once that was done, she just let Nathaniel put himself into a corner without him knowing it, so she could finish him off with one massive attack.
No matter how far Daisy has progressed throughout the series, the simple fact is that Nathaniel has a lot more experience with Inhuman powers than she does. He's had the quake powers for A LOT longer than Daisy has, and has mastered them. His knowledge and experience with Inhuman powers was so great that he knew how to effectively utilise Kora's powers INSTANTLY after he acquired them. Nathaniel Malick was simply too powerful for Daisy to defeat without sacrificing herself. And besides, why would you want the final villain of the series to be easy to defeat? How underwhelming would it be if the final main antagonist of the entire series just got curbstomped? It wasn't just better for the final battle to be a struggle for the heroes, it was necessary.
@@Unversed333 If Daisy had the power to kill Nathaniel without sacrificing herself, she would have done so. It serves no purpose to risk your life holding him off if you could just beat him then and there. Knowing that Daisy likely could not defeat Nathaniel conventionally, the heroes based their whole plan around Daisy holding Nathaniel off long enough for the others to do their parts before sacrificing herself. After everything Nathaniel has done, especially to Daisy personally, Daisy definitely _wanted_ to kill him, and Nathaniel knew this. After all, Nathaniel has, among other things: tortured, cut into and experimented on Daisy in order to take her powers, before later doing the same to many other Inhumans, including Li, Gordon, and even Daisy's sister, Kora; emotionally manipulated Kora, Jemma and Deke; killed Daisy's mother, Jiaying, after she tried to protect Daisy from him; taunted both Jiaying and Daisy with his thorough knowledge of their pasts and futures; invaded Jemma's mind and Fitz's memories, even causing enough damage to make Jemma forget about Fitz completely; tortured Jemma in front of Deke and vice versa; wiped out virtually all S.H.I.E.L.D. facilities around the world and all the lives within them; and took countless lives across the world throughout the course of his campaign. But Daisy was able to hold her own just long enough, which shows her own capabilities, even though she was getting tired near the end when Nathaniel could still go on all day.

It wasn’t that Daisy was letting Nathaniel win in any way, she was straining to stay alive and hold him at bay until the rest of the heroes could fulfil their parts where she would have to kill herself to stop him. All she could do was stall, but she could never beat him without pulling a suicide move to save the others, a concept that Nathaniel, who doesn’t care about anyone, could not understand and thus did not predict until it was too late. If the other heroes had taken too long, Nathaniel would’ve probably killed Daisy and won.
No, because if it did, it would have had a downer ending with an unresolved cliffhanger. Season 7 was greenlit while Season 6 was still in the production stages, so in a way, it and Season 7 are one season split in half.
@@Unversed333 Just as if Nathaniel Malick got the drop on Mack, Mack would be knocked out instantly. Or even killed instantly, given how Nathaniel can snap necks instantaneously like he did with Daisy's mother, Jiaying. Regardless, Mack knew that he couldn't interfere, as he'd only end up messing up the plan, getting killed by Nathaniel, or both.
the fighting scene seems so fake and very badly directed. the first kick at @min1:21 that she throws at him doesnt even come close to him and camera captures it perfectly. they seem to be pulling their punches and makes this fight scene really really doll.
