I think that because of the high price, the QC should be better. Like you've said, you pay a lot of money because you want an almost flawless model.

Hi AC exactly it should be better and very thorough considering that they only make a few models of each car 👍

BBR is overpriced. They also make a 1:43 lineup that costs almost $250. I've seen a few of them and they do NOT look great in 1:43. No way would I spend $250 for what's barely twice the size of a Hot Wheels...

You'll have more imperfections going with MR. Actually just received an 812 GTS from MR with multiple issues: 1) Paint damage around the headlight. 2) Plastic/resin mold not trimmed from one of the side mirrors. 3) The usual carbon fiber decal missing or flaking in some areas. 4) Uneven exhausts pipes[noticed this fault on BBR models as well] 5) Air pressure valves canted or looking ready to fall off. The dark green color(verde british) on the model masks most of these problems but also makes it difficult to display without a really great light source. I emailed Atelier/MR about it, they recommend I send it back for repairs. Problem is I'm not paying crazy shipping costs for a model I don't really like. I'll take a loss and sell it cheap eventually.

Very true I had a similar experience and just decided to keep it rather than deal returning it and paying the fees and postage costs 👍

@@flofk7 1) It's Flawed/Blemished too much for my liking. 2) It's too dark. It needs really good lighting. 3) The stance(ride height) is too high for my liking. It's disappointing.

It's a beautiful model of the LaFerrari mate. I have just gotten a 1/18 Ferrari Enzo from BBR and it's pretty spot on as you knoq I'm a huge fan. How's the saving fund going for your 124 sports car i'm sure you'll get it then you can do a video on it. I will be going for my driving licence next year i would love to get an Nissan Skyline R32 GTR but to start off will go with either a Golf or Focus. Oh and congrats on 600 subs doing great with your channel buddy. Take care

I keep all my models under display cases, i never remove them to keep them looking immaculate! BBR display cases fit over air tight over the base which really keeps the dust out!

Hi Brett yes that’s the best thing you can do on some of my early models from BBR or MR I never bought the cover and those are the models that have had issues now it’s a must please subscribe for more videos to come soon thanks 👍

Fun fact, this Ferrari is officially only known as the LaFerrari and not the Ferrari LaFerrari. As interesting is the fact the the Ferrari Enzo is actually and officially called the Enzo Ferrari.

If it is made in Italy. Then it will make sense. In my experience, Italian made model always have bad quality control compared with the Chinese made ones.

Yep it’s the unfortunate true but it’s only on one or two that I’ve experienced it with so hopefully now there qc process is better 👍👍

I wanted to get the white Aventador SVJ 63 1:18 from Makeup Co. But I am not able to find it anywhere. Not I can only find an MR in white at $550. I don't have experience with MR. I can say MakeUpco is best detailed and value for money. I wonder if I am making a mistake with the MR SVJ 63.

How is MU 1:18 resin compared to MR?

I would say mr models are definitely one of the best closely followed by BBR models MU is good too but I’ve not owned one in the past but please subscribe for more videos to come thanks 👍
