Hi, I've already ordered one of these from Ali, can you just plug standard single jack headphones into it and it works fine? Or do you have to buy special dual plug ones. Thanks for the video, exactly what I wanted to see. Makes a refreshing change from the usual "Come on then, get on with it!" type of videos haha
How you get it to TX on 27 . You have to press and hold the pt and the button below it. As you turn, the radio on that will take you into an extra lot of menus. You have to go to menu where you get f lock . You have to change the setting to unlock all. But you have to do it 10 × 1 after another. Without a change in anything, then it will let you t x on cb and more
I just updated mine to this fwre and it Tx from the screen like in this video (spectrum screen, then ptt) on any frequency, without the deep menu. What do these abbreviations under the frequency mean? I know they are accessible by pressing the menu button.
DO NOT transmit on CB with this radio. It is NOT transmitting on CB, it is transmitting several frequencies several times higher, one of which happens to be in the air band. It outputs 2+ watts there, and you get microwatts on 27MHz. The hardware inside the radio is not designed to amplify signals at 27MHz, it's designed to amplify signals above 100MHz. Do not do it or you risk outputting nothing at best, burning your radio and getting fined at worst.
