My comment is based on his performance, which is a fact, whereas your comment reflects a pre conceived notion that he is involved in wrongdoing. MF are subject to market risk, the only diff with him and other dumb fund managers is that everyone gets u sign this big BS but no one takes the real calculated risk to generate more Alpha, no wonder his fund's performance is an ire to many dumb Money managers especially if u generate superior returns as good as any damn PMS. @@souravpal1593 Made some money but not this much. Maybe I am old school and prefer Peter Lynch style of simple investing. I don't know how this fund house makes such fabulous returns by data analytics, backtesting etc.
Your suspicion is valid. But the answer is in your question. If there was insider trading, it could be by one fund manager. Full fund house will not attempt such stupidity. In such a case, only one fund would be an outperformer. But in Quant, all their funds are going very well. Which means they are doing something very right + the market being on steroids has helped them.
