Rise of Nations - Zanzibar (as shown in the thumbnail)
what i did was:
pick tanzania and put 100 research points in everything as well as build electronic factories on zanzibar's cities
liberate myself through mayotte to play zanzibar
get computer advancement act, advanced research bureau, encourage development, and chief judge (for underground labs) + head of research if they appear (if not, then socialism)
researched in research technology
sell excess electronics and maxed out these economic laws:
military
government
education
anti-corruption
research
then i just got lucky and got research and eco boom events until i got quantum computing

at this point just pick a tier 1 nation and have max research and education spending and you can quickly get to about 20 million population and quantum by early 2022

it's possible to do it faster with underground labs, and more policies but it just requires a lot of consumers and elec

I just tried this, but I don't start with 1k research. I only start with 500 research as Zanzibar. Am I doing anything wrong?

when did you release also did you research all of the prerequisites in technology (the ones that cost 100 and dont do anything but are just "theoretical prerequisites")
