quantum മെക്കാനിക്സിന്റെ ചില അടിസ്ഥാന സ്വഭാവങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞ ശേഷമേ ഇതിനു ഉത്തരം പറയാൻ പറ്റുകയുള്ളു. അത് കുറച്ചു കൂടെ വീഡിയോകൾ ചെയ്ത ശേഷമേ പറ്റു. എന്നാലും ഞാൻ മറ്റൊരു analogy (ഉപമ) വഴി ഇത് പറയാൻ ശ്രമിക്കാം. കുറച്ചു ആളുകളെ ഒരു കൂട്ടയോട്ടത്തിന് റെഡി ആയി നിറുത്തിയിരിക്കുകയാണെന്നു വിചാരിക്കുക. ഒരു ആയിരം പേരെ. 1 km കൂട്ടയോട്ടം. ആയിരം പേര് ഉള്ളത് കൊണ്ട് ഒരു വരിയിൽ തന്നെ എല്ലാരേയും നിരന്നു നിർത്താൻ പറ്റില്ലല്ലോ. അവർ ഒരു കൂട്ടമായി തന്നെ നില്കുന്നു. ഓടാൻ സിഗ്നൽ കൊടുത്തു കഴിയുമ്പോൾ അവർ ഒരു കൂട്ടമായി തന്നെ ഓടി 120 second കൊണ്ട് 1km കടക്കുന്നു. ഒരു കൂട്ടമായി അയതു കൊണ്ട് എല്ലാവരും ഒന്നിച്ചു ഫിനിഷിങ് ലൈൻ കടക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ലല്ലോ. അതിൽ 5 പേർ 118 സെക്കന്റ് കൊണ്ട് കടന്നിരിക്കും. 50 പേര് 119 സെക്കന്റ് കൊണ്ട് കടന്നിരിക്കും 900 പേര് 120 സെക്കന്റ് കൊണ്ട് കടന്നിരിക്കും, 40 പേര് 121 സെക്കന്റ് കൊണ്ട് കടന്നിരിക്കും 5 പേര് 122 സെക്കന്റ് കൊണ്ട് കടന്നിരിക്കും. എന്നാൽ ഒരു ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ആയിട്ടു നോക്കുമ്പോൾ 120 സെക്കന്റ് കൊണ്ട് 1KM ഓടി എത്തി എന്ന് പറയാം. ആ ചെറിയ വ്യത്യാസങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപെടില്ല ഇനി തൊട്ടടുത്ത് തന്നെ മറ്റൊരു ഗ്രൂപ് 1000 പേര് മറ്റൊരു വഴിയിലൂടെ 1 km കൂട്ടയോട്ടം ഓടുന്നു എന്ന് വിചാരിക്കുക. ഒരു വ്യത്യാസം ഉള്ളത് ആ വഴിയുടെ പകുതി എത്തുമ്പോൾ ഒരു മതിലുണ്ട്. അത് ചാടി കടന്നു വേണം പോകാൻ. ആ ഗ്രൂപ്പിൽ 995 പേരും മതിൽ എത്തുമ്പോൾ ചാടാൻ കഴിയാതെ നില്കുന്നു. 5 പേര് മാത്രം, മതില് ചാടി കടന്നു 118 സെക്കന്റ് കൊണ്ട് 1 km ലക്ഷ്യത്തിൽ എത്തുന്നു. അപ്പോൾ നമ്മൾ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഗ്രൂപ്പിൽ ആകെ 5 പേരെ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിൽ എത്തിയൊള്ളു എങ്കിലും അവരെല്ലാം 118 സെക്കന്റ് കൊണ്ട് എത്തി ആദ്യത്തെ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് 120 സെക്കന്റ് കൊണ്ടാണ് എത്തിയത്. ഒരു ക്ഷണം നമ്മൾ ചിന്തിക്കുമ്പോൾ , രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് നേരെത്തെ എത്തിയതായി തോന്നും. ഏകദേശം ഇത് തന്നെ ആണ് ക്വാണ്ടം തണലിങ്ങിൽ പ്രകാശത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിലും സംഭവിക്കുന്നത്.

Kinetic energy is the energy available with an object due to its motion or speed. In this case, when we through a ball, we give the kinetic energy to the ball. Potential energy is the stored energy that an object get when we raise the height of the object. This energy is stored as gravitational potential energy

Bro without quantum tunneling semi conductors ( micro processors ) , transistors and diodes won’t work. Because of high level of doping concentration, some charge carriers cross the barrier at low voltage .i.e they tunnel through at less voltage Imagine a very good speaker in an auditorium. More people than the chairs in the auditorium. Some will stand ; Still more crowd, some will throng the auditorium till door and push few outside…..

Negative charge and negative field are different. Negative charge is the property of Mass. (Electron) Field is the property of space. Field can extend into space from the charge.

I did not tell that there is flow of electrons between the fields. Assume that these two plates are independently charged with electrons. they are not connected . So both of them will have negative charge. The both will extend their field outside the plate into the space. When we bring the plates together, they will repel due to The negative electric field exerted by each other. But there will be no flow between them. When I say, independently charged, there are many ways. They can be statically charged (like in static electricity), May be using a Vandegraf generator. If each of the plates is charged with enough electrons, they can extend the field into the space between them. All I wanted to say is that, there is a negative field between the plates which in normal case electrons coming from the electron gun cannot cross. It is called a potential barrier. Potential barrier need not be always two plates. I used the example of the plates only for better understanding. If I use just the word potential barrier, Many wont be able to understand. SO to visualize what could be a potential barrier, I gave the example of the plates.

@@Science4Mass there is still a mystery exists that whether charge move from positive to negative or from negative to positive. So without particles there is no field I believe. The barrier should depend on the surrounding particles right?
