Tips from someone who works at Cane's. 1. Order no salt fries and ask for salt at the second window. They have to come out fresh. 2. You can ask for butter on both sides of the toast. 3. A box no slaw extra toast is less expensive than a 3 finger with an extra toast. 4. Sauce is the cheapest thing on the menu. It costs about 40 cents, so if you usually ask to substitute something for sauce and add something else, it's more expensive. 5. Most Cane's restaurants also have hot sauce and mayo if you need it. 6. Anyone can order a kids combo, but a kids lemonade is not more expensive than a kids fountain drink. 7. If your asked for a bottle of water for no additional charge, you'd be better off getting a cup of water light ice. It's still cheaper and you get about as much cool water if not more. 8. A sandwich combo is cheaper than a 3 finger combo, and you get relatively the same amount of stuff on it unless you get it on toast. (Than it's a 3 finger with extra toast.) 9. You can put butter on your sandwich combo if you want. No extra charge and all, but you'll have to wait maybe 30 extra seconds. 10. We do have naked tenders. They take about 3 and a half to 4 minutes to make though and they come out smaller, so it might not be worth it sometimes. Bonus tip #11.
