You are such a good mom! That's money that can be either saved or placed in another budget line. I purchased the dip set and it saves me about $75 a month. I'm the same way nails&toes gotta match peridot#!!!!! Love vids like this.. I've started trying to do my own nails I was hesitant at first because I want my nails to look god and I'm no expert but I'm like if Des can do it I can to !!!! I feel you 1000% do it yourself! My mother is a cosmetologist so growing up and even now on occasion she still does my hair if not I do it myself. By her being an entrepreneur and having owned her own salon it inspired me to do nails, lashes and eyebrows as a side hustle / hobby.... I'm a teacher through the week and a stylist on the weekends 😁

Yes- I think when you have to do a diy you appreciate it more and learn something at the same time. During quarantine I’ve been cutting my own hair and did highlights. Turned out great - do I like the salon ? Of course, it’s fun! But supplementing with some diy is good too. I cut my daughter’s hair too. As a kid, my Mom gave me and my sister Olgevi perms.... bless her heart - I looked like a chia pet a few times but I learned to work with what I had!

Awesome job! I would never go to a nail salon if I could do this good of a job! Love the honesty about how long it really took but obviously it was worth it and you save money and don't have to worry about things being sanitized with everything going on.

Lovely!! 👏🏽👏🏽 I rarely get my nails or hair done at a salon. I rock my wigs.. I done crochet braids on myself twice and once box braids. Want to get back into my extension ponytails and half wigs. If you can learn to do it why not?? I usually will get my nails done just one my bday and than do fill in. I am 28 and can do without my nails done. I just purchased a gel lamp on mercari and want to practice doing my nails. Even my brows, I would clean them up on my own. Sometimes your fav place ends up closing or you end up going to one place like once or twice. Its good to know how to do it on your own.
