Compared to the earlier match ups, g2 seemed to play scared on both maps ,on both sides. The opposite is what their strong side was or what was working for them in the earlier matches . Added with beautiful calls from shuihy, they didnt stand a chance with that mindset . Against spirit and astralis , the flash support they gave to each other to take duels/push etc was insane . They were covering all entries perfectly on CT and exec-ing textbook entries which didnt fail due to their firepower on T...We didn't see any of that . Its like a totally different team played mouz today . Sad to see them throw it this way . Gg to both teams anyways
Yeah, it felt like they were lost and always didn't know what to do. For example, on the T side, they would always play grouped together, leaving sites open way too much, and Mouz were able to capitalize on that easily. They looked like a totally different team.
It's Niko bruhh he was playing Selfish and not working and playing with the Teammates that's what caused them to fall in Lower Bracket earlier they did the same mistake of not playing with their Teammates
They will have different game plans for different teams which are made by studying the teams they will play against. Unfortunately this game plan didn't pan out the way they thought it would.
Sad that G2's run ended here considering their dominant matches in the group stage (especially against Spirit). The overall team is looking well though, just need some time to settle like Na'Vi maybe
They will always going to lose against navi, mouz and vita bot2 trash team and fraudnesy most overrated player in the history of cs,don't compare this kid to s1mple and zywoo who r messi and Ronaldo of cs.
They need more time to settle like Na'Vi? G2 keeps changing roster because of Niko. Even after they get the time which they did so many times, they still end up doing nothing.
@@evanzhang445in the interview snax said, that he tried new tactics on mirage, which wasnt fully trained and he blamed himself. Consider that changes in G2 are realtively fresh
@@evanzhang445 They lost faith in Hooxi, so they tried someone new (on short notice). At least now G2 play Mirage, instead of having it permabanned because they don't have 2 weak anchors that can be abused
@@kirinom-3129 hooxie and nexa should have left. Their individual performance was below average for their roles. Snax and malbsd are much better choices, but they need time to develop chemistry in the team.
Snax needs to have plan b everytime man, for every team you've got to have one like what aleksib does, u gotta improvise if you dont have one, peek with flashes, peak with teammates, to lurk or to not, lurk is not important when morale is low anyways.
Hope mouz wins this cologne siuhy and jimmy two of the greatest upcoming talents in cs2. I would say siuhy next gla1ve/karrigan of CS2 and Jimmy next xyp9x.
They were playing very scared tbh. Couple of stupid fake plants that just loses them the round. That's the opposite of how you play when you got such firepower
only niko and monesy firepower there that even b1t can better firepower than both even monesy said in his stream if someone" just use b1t crosshair you will be headshot machine "
@@PlastikBaru-u7olol yeah drop the player with a 1.40 rating this tournament, sure that’ll play out well might as well say goodbye to monsey as well while you’re at it
theres a bit of chemistry, you can see it in the game agains spirit, they made some wonderful setups, but yes... it is a almost new team, and Im sure they will be really good
@@nunogavazzi1913 they win gunfights. That’s it. Malbs and monesy carry them in almost any game they win. Snax is washed, niko is a d1 malder, and hunter doesn’t show up to play on the big stage. You can easily tell they’re going for the “I have bigger guns than you, therefore I win” team building strat with recent sign ons.
I fell asleep thinking G2 had this in the bag (I'm from Asia, so it's already late at night). But damn, Mouz performed an upset. First, it was sAw vs. Faze. Now G2 vs. Mouz. Vitality and Navi are the only teams left to end the upset spree in this tournament 😮
@josephcharles4549 Yeah, my bad on my part. The comment was made when I just woke up and I didn't fully watch the whole match at the time. Mouz outplayed G2's "firepower" roster in that game, so I worded it poorly. I should've typed it as "outclassed" rather than an upset. My brain doodoo rn from waking up, hehehe 😆
@@Phentos03 All good, I understand what you mean. G2 were destroying everyone in the lower bracket so most of us thought their firepower was too strong for Mouz, I personally thought it'd be much closer with Mouz winning but they got outclassed severely.
I lost my sleep for this shitty play by g2 . I had hope even until the second last round . Can't believe I am sitting at work right now with shrunk eyes , all to watch that stupid game by g2.
They need to add dances in between rounds when a player clutches big. hit the gwiddy on the main stage 30 second timeout just to do their own endzone dance.
M0nesy was never next s1mple/zywoo,when he actually needed the most he doesn't performs well despite having stack team mates. This game and Another game where he didn't perform was ewc finals against navi where niko was hard carrying him and entire g2 and he was invisible there too. Remember s1mple/zywoo carried far worse team mates than m0nesy and won trophies as well as top 1 for like ages. M0nesy can't do that even with good team mates.
Siuhy is the best timing lurker mf rn . In contrast b1t is the best opportunistic timing lurker. Xertion forces but carries with him great headshot aim, while b1t is patient with the calling of his igl.
Good games. Sad for G2. They were SO dominant earlier in the tournament. Thought they could go much forward. They look good as a team but maybe need a little bit of time to iron out things together. Get the feel of the new team. Love it though
Niko, Malbs and Hunter didn't perform at playoffs, but I think they also wasn't well prepared for Mouz, G2 got outcalled too many times both on dust2 and mirage.
M0nesy is very young but calling him the new S1mple is a bit funny. When things get serious, he can drag the team down. Malbs is also having a hard time because he doesn't have experience here. Even Snax could be the best player for G2 in the series. MOUZ deserved it anyway, no surprise.
Snax great aim to be an igl but not great tactician, I also fear Niko, everytime he’s underperforming I don’t understand if he is in positions he’s not comfortable because his igl is calling him to play those very positions. Sad
What can you do when you have a fraud coach and IGL? It's last season's G2 all over again Should have learned something when they won IEM Dallas with Stew
It’s crazy how apparent the issues with this G2 roster are. They just don’t lose pistol rounds because the player skill/mechanics are unmatched but holy Christ they can’t execute worth ANYTHING. They just lose rounds horribly mostly due to poor planning.
