This seemed very disorganized. You should have nominated possible additions. Then discussing and voted on removal then (knowing the open slots) voted on which nominess get on. Also, change the signs to On and Off.
41:28 “Did you know Justin Herbert has more pass attempts than Jared Goff?” Yeah, because Goff is getting bigger chunk plays and giving his team big leads, allowing them to run the ball more. Last week, Goff didn’t even play in the last quarter. Goff is averaging 9.0 yards per attempt to Herbert’s 7.4. Herbert is still good, don’t get me wrong, but he’s not in Goff’s league this season.
QBR is an ESPN bogus statistic algamation that has no reflection on real QB performance. It should never even be mentioned. It's the Harry Potter/Voldemort stat, the evil outlier statistic comparison that should never be mentioned. Case in point: Bo Nix QBR ranking is higher after 8 weeks than Jared Goff's QBR. Goff just had the best 5 week run that any NFL QB has ever had over any 5 week stretch in NFL history. PFF lost their core of top analysts and is a joke today. The Lions have 172 points in 4 weeks with Goff having played the best ball of any QB over that period of time. PFF grades him out with 60s and 70s over that period. PFF is a bad joke today.
QBR is heavily correlated with EPA. Last week Goff had 3 TDs, but they all came from favorable field positions, and he took 5 sacks as well. It's okay if you don't understand a stat, though I agree ESPN hiding the calculations give me pause.
@@Pingu-rd9rx Thanks for your condescension. EPA is another phony projection, the expected rather than the actual. Oh my, he could have fumbled. Oh my, that was a potential interception. Oh my, none of that actually happened and the QB who has taken the Brady Manning mantle gets hog-washed by pundits spouting make believe for gambling addicts. Just the facts, please. Give me the tried and true passer rating with the incongruous 158.3. as a goal, and watch the games rather than the highlights if you're going to pontificate.
the fact that you have to preface every Jared Goff comment or top it off with something about the OL or Ben Johnson tells you everything you need to know. Please, stop trying to sell us something that none of you actually believe in lol.
@@hestickney I mean that's the point of these exercises though, to choose who the most skilled QBs are and how they're trending. Wins aren't a QB stat bc there's too many variables. If Herbert had Evans/Godwin to throw to and a McVay disciple calling the plays he'd probably put up some gaudy numbers too
