You can’t possibly love it more without Simms. Simms actually knows football. He actually does his job and studies film and knows what he’s talking about. Florio just pretends he knows X’s and O’s by stealing all of Simms knowledge and never giving him any credit for it
The Mahomes contract is a work of genius. It's long-term commitment by both parties to build an ultra-flexible contract situation for the next decade that would keep plenty of cap for a good roster while also moving money forward from all the years committed to keep Mahomes the highest paid in the present. Veach and Mahomes are playing 3D chess with the rest of the league because there is no other team willing to make that level of commitment to a QB with the belief that it will actually pay off.
You start out by saying not to call them contract 'extensions' because that's not what they are. Then you proceed to call them that the rest of the video, including in the written captions at the bottom. What to believe?
Reporter said Him Harbaugh hit the field in athletic shorts, shirt, whistle and cleats. Said he was running around like a high school coach, coaching every position. Motivating players. Motivating coaches. Taking snaps and throwing the ball to teach the QB’s. Reporter said he never saw an NFL coach do that. Love Jim Harbaugh because he’s a real football coach. A leader! Reporter said players loved it and totally bought in to the new football culture 🏈
The sound produced by the wine cellar isn't very good. It sound's like a bad speakerphone. Get some headphones, or a mic on your shirt at least. Or go back up in the room with the space rocket in corner. Bring Macy.
I think fundamentally Jerry Jones knows that Dak is a B+ to A- QB and he's trying to resist paying him A+ money. As Colts GM Chris Ballard always says, "Never pay A money to B players." Ballard does pay guys he drafts (if he feels they're worth it) though. Unfortunately for Jones, his only alternative is to back to the lottery that is the NFL Draft and hope for something better, which is unlikely. So, does he consign himself to being *at best* an NFC finalist for the next 5+ years, but at least still "relevent" or does he go back to the drawing board. Most likely its a lose-lose proposition.
As a former multi year subscriber to Sunday Ticket, I am extremely interested in this case. If the plaintiffs wins, at what point will the details come out of regarding individual reimbursement?
I truly hope the Browns do make the playoffs. There very few teams that have never been to a Superbowl. Browns are one of them. Detroit Houston Jacksonville are the others.
All that Quarterback talk about money and extensions is mute if one is injured very badly, or they lost their touch and start to suck. 30 year old good Quarterbacks are rare. One bad hit is all it takes.
it's not a joke... Florio just calls his hair his toupee, that's it... why peeps get hung up on this is trivial to me... he CLEARLY ain't sporting a toop...
All the numbers have been there for a decade. There are only a couple of teams in the NFL that have spent less than the Cowboys have. The top spending teams, which coincidently enough, are the most successful teams have spent 100s of millions more. They are incredibly cheap, and only care about putting money in their pockets. They arent alone in this but they are the biggest example because no one is making more money than Jerry off the NFL, and the franchise is the most valuable in the world. Mike is the only 1 who started talking about the Cowboys being cheap and he didnt start doing it until this year. They have been cheap for a very long time, but Jerry had everyone fooled into think they spend a bunch of money. All he does is talk about how much a player wants and how they cant afford it and hes been doing it for a long time. Convincing fans the players are greedy and poor Jerry just can afford them under the cap. They spend to the cap but they do not manipulate it and spend over the cap. They also very rarely give up big signing bonuses.
Listening to all this "gimme cha ching" and NFL strategically gouging us kind of has me questioning if the whole kit and caboodle is is even worth my time because it is starting sound like it may be to expensive for me to be a fan. Go Bills! (didn't say it would be easy!) lol
Daniel Jones had 1 big year and got the bag. Big mistake. Think Tua will be the same. Don’t think Trevor Lawrence deserved the huge bag either. PREMATURE!!!!! There’s only 1 active QB under the age of 37 with a ring. Rodgers, Stafford and Russ are older. Mahomes has 2 roe 3 rings. Lamar has 2 MVP’s and made it to AFC Championship last year. Joe Burrow made it to Super Bowl. Josh Allen repeatedly advances in playoffs. Baker Mayfield has made it to Divisional round wit 2 teams. Stroud and Love are young guns with potential. Dak consistently produces wins and playoff disasters. Beyond those few, why pay big bucks? Herbert has never won a playoff game. I think Cardinals QB is same. But I guess the owners have plenty to spend✌️
At 8:28 - Florio really just parades around like he actually knows X’s and O’s. He says, “Tyreek is more valuable to the offense than Tua.” Which may very well be true, but Florio doesn’t know that. He doesn’t watch a lick of film. He doesn’t study McDaniels system and how he schemes things and whose job is easier, blah blah blah. Florio doesn’t know any of that stuff. He just says this because Simms has said it and he trusts Simms’s opinion. But Florio just adopts it and says it like he himself knows it as a fact. He doesn’t. He always wants to talk shit about the breaking news sports insiders doing fake shit like APY but Florio does the same fake shit. Stealing Simms’s football and film knowledge and pretending he’s just as knowledgeable. He has no clue. He’s just assuming and pretending he knows what he’s talking about and it’s insincere and pure bullshit
It would have been super disappointing if that judge had thrown out the case. And re: the NFL and its fans... the NFL does NOT care about us. They care about the $$$$$$$$$. I'd love to watch my favorite team every game/week. Many times my choice is hot garbage, especially in Alabama where they think we only care about college football.
lol I love you man but Tyreek IS NOT more important than Tua. We’ve seen what the team looks like without Tua in it. We saw how Tyreek looked without Tua in it. Come on man. This bs has to stop. It’s so bogus. Tyreek can’t throw and catch the ball and make decisions in the pocket and call plays and go through progressions. Just stop the madness.
Why are people in the media continuously and conveniently forgetting that Watson has been injured the better part of the two years under contract and this is the reason his play hasn’t been up to par. Injury is beyond anyone’s control, so to blame the contract is silly. But of course, the NFL wants this as it just gives them a reason not to entertain fully guaranteed contracts.
For the Fans? Shm... If there's ever a class action suit against NFL Shop or Fanatics, sign me up! False advertising/bait-and-switch... yeah... For the fans to get screwed.
DAK IS NOT GETTING PAID FROM THE COWBOYS, BECAUSE HE CAN'T WIN A PLAYOFF GAME :-) HE DOESN'T HAVE SHIT FOR LEVERAGE, BYE DAK, GO LOSE FOR ANOTHER TEAM FOR 60 MIL.
Didn’t bother watching again because you’re so negative, finding fault in any and everyone. No one cares what you think about Tua. The owner loves him. The HC loves him. The players love him. The supporters love him. It might not work out and the team might fail but that’s sport folks. It’s why we’re all so addicted to it. What’ll help find that elusive success is a connection between players, coaches and fans. We’ll all win/lose together and we’re good with that. Let those on the outside who’ve done nothing in the sport in real terms try to convince everyone that ‘they’re the experts’. Like Florio.
