This vid was just what I needed as I’m going through withdrawal symptoms by not having my RV during its offroad modifications. 4 weeks to wait till I get it back, fully fledged 4x4. Fair Winds.
Hey, I was on hwy 95 yesterday, the only problem is, it was the one in Missouri, it's been freezing weather here in the Ozarks, hopefully y'all are having great weather. Thanks for the update.
I have been really enjoying your videos. May I suggest using a pen to circle or arrow or marker to highlight some of the area you spoke about. Because the landscape looks the same, it is very difficult to identify the areas and structures you talk about. I am trying to learn as much as possible before I travel there. Your videos have already been very helpful. .
Our season starts 11/16. We went to Quartzsite for or 2 days in October to have Solar Bill’s add another solar panel and swap out our lead acid batteries for lithium. We drove through LaPosa South and picked up our pass. Even then the road was much better than last season. We’re looking forward to another season.
Often, the ponds accumulate solid material, while the water evaporates. When the pond is silted in, it's allowed to fully dry and it's emptied using excavating equipment. There are two ponds, so one can be used, while the other is under maintenance.
Thanks for the update. I like seeing the population grow. I'll be out in January to meet up with friends. My husband and I are looking forward to your next video.
Appreciate the update. The new road surface will sure help keep the dust down some. I also enjoy flying my MAVIC Air 1 and 2. Did you get the Remote ID module yet? I ordered one and it finally arrived.
Well I'm new to your channel and I really like it I'm coming down for my first time ever from Butte Montana in a Dodge minivan with my dog Piper it's silver it's got a tore up back bumper, I'm thinking quartzsite first then lake havasu,
I stopped at Quartzsite and spent the night there at scaddin wash. Makes it a lot easier to go to Southern California from Phoenix not such a long drive.
So what is the 180 bucks for using the dump station or for being able to camp there? Because ive travelled all the way from the north east coast i dont want to have to spend another 180 on top of the 1000+ dollars i spent on gas to travel all the way to new mexico which is where i currently am
I'm I a ltva, Long Term Visitor Area, for $180 I get water, dump station and trash. The other BLM areas you get nothing but camping and you must move at least 25 miles every 14 days. In addition the LTVAs have vault toilets. In desert water can be up to 25 cents per gallon. For me it's worth it because I'm here for the winter and use it for a base camp. You don't have to stay in an ltva there are 6 other free blm areas.
I was just comparing your bus to Blue Van Dans bus, both have a flat front end, his looks a little longer. Oh well, another comment for the RU-vid algorithm. Later..
I think its pretty amazing how many people live out here with such a low impact. The wilderness is still mostly untouched. Where else on earth are there so many people living on the land without fundamentally changing its character?
