I like to think when he isn't rescuing Peach, he's just along for the ride. Like he has the ABILITY to do great things, but he doesn't feel obligated to unless someone is in immediate danger. Not because he's lazy, but because he's content with his place in the universe. That's why he's able to find so much joy in simple things, like eating a "quaso" or exclaiming "wahoo" when he does a big jump.
It gets better if you imagine that she didn't want one for herself, but for Mario, and the reason she's repeating "croissant" so much is because she loves hearing Mario's pronunciation, and she wants to share it with the world
I absolutely love the characterization of Mario in this. When he’s not being Peach’s knight in shining armor, he’s just being a weird lil’ fella just living his best weird lil’ fella life.
I mean imagine you’re this Peach, locked up by Bowser for the millionth time, just knowing that sooner or later this lil guy’s gonna bump his way across the lands to find you and bust you out.
"Today I wanted to eat a croissant " "Quaso" "So I went to a place that sells croissant " "Quaso" "And I bought a croissant " "Quaso" "And I returned home with the croissant " "Quaso" "And then I ate the croissant" "Quaso"
It's adorable how little Mario is just goofing around in the background like a comic relief while Peach enjoyed her vlog. The dynamic between the two is wholesome.
What about poor Toad? He didn't have all of those stacked onto him in the moment - he's been carrying those packages (and Mario) for _hours_! At least Salty had a quick death with meaning.
@@SenorFluffy| Exactly. It's the man's simplicity and just-happy-to-be-there energy that makes him so appealing, especially for someone like Peach who's usually dealing with the complexities of kingdom-ruling.
@@Em.P14 bah me it really makes me laugh, but on the other hand, his accent is incredible! because she pronounces R quite well with the French accent, whereas I know a lot of English people who don't know how to do it! and also because the way she says it makes me laugh ^^ lol
Mario’s sooooo adorwable 😍🥺 with his little pats at the beginning like a 3 yr old out of context. I also like how you can here the pat sound affects. ❤❤❤
Marios just being a happy little dude happy to come with his girlfriend on her little day to day life adventures, biding his time until she really needs help
@@Pelelrt Nah its the voice too. A lower pitch feminine voice is often associated with maturity or elegance, and depending on the person, can also be incredibly soothing.
I love that you interpret the noises as Mario slapping the ground like a toddler Edited from "running noises" cuz I always thought the slapping noises was the other character running up to say "quaso" lol
I love how mario is just tapping the floor like a little child in the beginning, this is what he does when he doesn’t have a grand mission to do he has the epitome of the hero archetype and has the truest ADHD Hunter gatherer mindset now that he is not on a grand adventure he is merely stimulating his mind awaiting for the next great conquest, if only we could go back this way of living.
I have no clue why but mario in this video resonates with me on a spiritual level. Like im not even exaggerating when i say his antics give me insane levels of joy
So what *is* the original video? I have no idea where Pringus got the audio and I'd like to. Apparently it's somebody called "Stsnley" but that doesn't tell me much. Anybody got a link?
I feel like Peach really is like this canonically. Enjoying her life, spending her money and thinking everything is fine, while her friends are getting screwed in the background and dummy Mario blindly following her
I like how Mario is with her like he expects her to be kidnapped just by going to a cafe that sells croissants(quasso) to get a croissants(quasso), to eat the croissants(quasso)!
I like that this episode doesn't try to make fun of any of the characters or something, it's just a genuine show of who they are and the things they'd do. Hell, doobus's Mario even fits with who Mario is. It's honestly just nice to see characters acting like themselves in fan works.
I like the idea that, without a mushroom power up to make them the same size, mario reverts to gremlin size like Umaru-chan and Peach just has to deal with it.
I love how the bg characters are actual people he knows, Zyxac, Lythero, Lucy, Paperboxhouse (the chicken), and I think Ihearrtjustice. These were all the people I could recognize right away, amassing work!
