Thanks 👍 I’m not sure I realised either! However, it could have been much much worse - the donor coupe is in pretty good shape compared to some I’ve seen.

I’m sure you would do a few things slightly differently the second time around…😊 it’s a suck it and see job the first time… but I can see that you’re doing a great job…👍🏼 can’t wait to see how it turns out… and what colour you choose… shame you are so far away 🥴

Do the Coupes & Quattros have a narrower roof than the 80s and 90s? Or it just an illusion caused by the steeper raked windscreen?

Yes, there is a difference in roof width between the coupe and saloon.

Well, it certainly doesn't feel that way I can tell you! I seem to have to move something, before I can move something, before I can move something else, before I can get on with what I need to. If the S2 rally car didn't live in the garage permanently, it'd be much easier. First would problems I guess. But for sure, I couldn't do it in a single garage space that's for certain.
